Alhamdulillah sa tagal-tagal ng pag-aantay ng ating mahal na mga Seniors, dumating na rin po ang social pension payout nila.

RELEASE OF SOCIAL PENSION FOR 1,104 INDIGENT SENIOR CITIZENS OF LANTAWAN MUNICIPALITY WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY LAST MARCH 25, 2021 AT MARITIME GROUND, ATONG-ATONG, LANTAWAN, PROVINCE OF BASILAN DISTRIBUTED BY THE APSWO MAAM SAADA JACARIA OF PSWDO-BASILAN and her company.

The Provincial Government of Basilan through PSWDO had conducted women's program held last March 24, 2021 at Executive Hall, Atong-Atong, Lantawan for women in different sectors. They had their resource speakers tackling about effective motherhood and how to be a more responsible wife. There was also a massage therapy tutorial taught by RPT NIDA AKALUN AND Q& A PORTION enjoyed by the participants.

Our Municipal Government is indeed grateful to PGB and PSWDO for conducting their women's activities in our place.

The Municipal Government of Lantawan celebrated their Women's Month last March 23, 2021 at Executive Hall, Atong-Atong,Lantawan with a THEME: FATIMA LABAN SA PANDEMYA KAYA!They held a culmination program with a resource speakers of different roles shared their amazing experiences on how they effectively empowered themselves as a woman. Followed by the awarding of prizes to different games conducted throughout the month of March.Indeed, it was a productive day, empowering women to be empowered amidst the pandemic.
Also, our Honorable Mayor Nursiya I. Ismael offered free manicure, hair cut and hair salon among the participants.

Today, March 8, 2021 marks the National Women's Day and officially launch our Women's Month Celebration during our Monday flagraising followed by a short program and a trivia quiz. Lantawan female employees wear something color purple in observance with the celebration.

Per result of the SOCPEN MEETING conducted by the PSWDO last February 18, 2021 at PEO Compound, Isabela City, Basilan, there will be an upcoming SOCIAL PENSION PAYOUT for Lantawan Indigent Senior Citizens for Year 2021 on March 18, 2021 and for the SOCPEN PAYOUT for the year 2019 on March 8, 2021 at Barangay Atong-Atong, Lantawan, Basilan.

The Bangsamoro Umpungan sa Nutrisyon(BangUN) is a project from the National Government by virtue of the directives of President Rodrigo R. Duterte through DSWD- Central Office that aims to reduce the vulnerabilities of malnourished children and to provide health support for pregnant and lactating women across BARMM.
Glad to say that for a second time Lantawan Municipality has been chosen again as the recipient for this project.
