Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO2 Cristopher B Villarica, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted water rationing at Brgy. Zone III, Lanuza, Surigao Del Sur.

The activity was carried out as part of the station’s commitment to provide immediate assistance to the community, particularly in addressing the residents’ basic water needs specially this drowth season. Through the utilization of available resources and firefighting equipment, Lanuza Fire Station demonstrated its readiness to extend support beyond fire suppression and prevention.

The water rationing activity strengthened the partnership between the Fire Station and the community, while promoting public trust, cooperation, and the spirit of Bayanihan. Agsam, Lanuza, Surigao Del Sur.

The activity aimed to educate students on basic fire safety awareness, fire prevention measures, and the proper actions to take during fire emergencies. The activity provided hands-on training in fire suppression techniques, proper handling of firefighting equipment, coordinated team operations, and adherence to established emergency response procedures.

This simulation serves as a vital component of continuous capability enhancement, ensuring that firefighters remain prepared to respond efficiently and safely to actual fire emergencies.
