Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FSSUPT JEROME T REANO, OIC-Regional Director, and the supervision of FCINSP ATTY JILL T YUSIKEE-DIAZ, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO2 Cristopher B Villarica, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, attended the Wreath Laying Ceremony in commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan held at the Lanuza Town Plaza, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur.

The activity served as a solemn tribute to the bravery, heroism, and sacrifices of Filipino heroes who fought for the country’s freedom. Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FSSUPT JEROME T REANO, OIC-Regional Director, and the supervision of FCINSP ATTY JILL T YUSIKEE-DIAZ, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO2 Cristopher B Villarica, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a clean-up drive along the coastal areas of the Municipality of Lanuza, Surogao Del Sur.

The activity highlighted the importance of environmental protection and coastal conservation, promoting cleanliness, proper waste management, and community participation. It also strengthened awareness on maintaining a safe and healthy environment while fostering teamwork and social responsibility among personnel and community members.

30 MARCH 2026 || FIRE PREVENTION MONTH CULMINATION PROGRAM

Lanuza Fire Station, under the leadership of FSSUPT JEROME T REANO, OIC-Regional Director, and the supervision of FCINSP ATTY JILL T YUSIKEE-DIAZ, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO2 Cristopher B Villarica, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, succesfully conducted the Fire Prevention Month Culmination Program.

The activity was graced by the presence of the Municipal Mayor of Lanuza, Hon. Algerico H. Irizari, who served as the guest speaker. The event was also attended by the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Surigao del Sur, FCINSP ATTY JILL T YUSIKEE-DIAZ, along with MDRRMO-Lanuza personnel headed by Mr. Artemio S. Cinco, and SB member Renante Capistrano.

The event highlighted the various activities conducted throughout Fire Prevention Month and included the awarding of certificates to all stakeholders and partners in recognition of their support and participation in the program.
