The Municipality of Laoac, Pangasinan announces the conduct of the Expanded Program for Alien Typing System (EXPAT) to provide services and assistance to foreign nationals.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

๐Ÿ“ La Union
๐Ÿ“ Pangasinan

๐Ÿ“ Nueva Ecija
๐Ÿ“ Pampanga
๐Ÿ“ Tarlac
๐Ÿ“ Zambales

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

To ensure safety of our learners from the inclement weather caused by the southwest monsoon, face to face classes in all levels (private and public) in the municipality of Laoac, Pangasinan is hereby suspended on August 17, 2026. Alternative learning modes for classes shall be implemented.
