📸𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The IN-Environment and Natural Resources Office proudly joins the Tree Planting Activity at 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐤, 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐬 — held in celebration of the 𝟒𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐬.

This meaningful activity, which is in line with the project of 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜, brought together dedicated partners and leaders committed to environmental stewardship, including the Regional Directors of NCIP Region I and the Cordillera led by 𝐒𝐞𝐜. 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐀. 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐜𝐨 of NCIP, LGU officials and staff headed by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐌. 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, Municipal Mayor of Adams, the Tribal leaders of Adams, and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, MENRO of Adams.

During the activity, participants planted 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬🌳 — a symbol of passion and resilience for the community of Adams and for the environment of Ilocos Norte.
This initiative is also in support of the advocacy of 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐬, Governor of Ilocos Norte, in promoting environmental protection and sustainable development across the province.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨 and 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 for the warm invitation and for championing this green initiative. Together, we plant not just trees — but hope for a greener, more sustainable future.
We look forward to more meaningful partnerships with the LGU of Adams!

🌿 𝐑𝟐𝐑: 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

In celebration of Earth Month, the PGIN-Environment and Natural Resources Office conducted the R2R: Ridge to River to Reef Initiative at Brgy. Isidro, Dumalneg, last April 30, 2026.

PGIN-ENRO partnered with the Municipal Mayor of Dumalneg, Hon. Francisco R. Espiritu, Jr., and the MENRO of Dumalneg, headed by Engr. Riza Espiritu, for a bamboo tree planting activity.

This collaborative effort was made even more special with the participation of the Accounting Office, who gladly stepped out of the office and into the field, joining hands with various organizations from Dumalneg — the Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay Kagawads, Lupons, Tanods, and other volunteers.

This initiative is in line with the advocacy of Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos for a cleaner, greener, and healthier Ilocos Norte — a commitment to protect and preserve our environment for future generations.

Thank you to all volunteers, the Municipal Government of Dumalneg, and our community partners for making this initiative a success. Let's continue working together for a cleaner, greener Ilocos Norte!🌿

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The IN-Environment and Natural Resources Office proudly served during the recently concluded 2026 Little League Competition! 🌿⚾

As part of our commitment to public service, our dedicated team — together with the PESO, Barangay Ranger Officers, GSO, and INYDO — ensured that the stadium was kept clean and well-maintained throughout the entire competition — making sure that every visitor and participant were able to sit comfortably and enjoy every game to the fullest!

Our sincerest gratitude to the City Government of Laoag for supporting trash collection at the billeting schools and maintaining cleanliness across all competition venues; to the LGUs of Bacarra, Burgos, Pasuquin, San Nicolas, Vintar, Banna, Dingras, and Laoag City for their outstanding cooperation in managing the different playing venues; and to our partner agencies — PEO, OBA, IT, MSME, DepEd, PNP, BFP, MINC, PDRRMO, PHO, PIO, PCIT, CMO, Sports Office, and Tourism Office — whose coordination made this event a resounding success!

Today, we mark the 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 — but our commitment to the environment doesn't end here. It begins here.

Every tree planted, every plastic refused, every resource conserved — these are not small acts. They are steps toward a future we are building together.

As a community, as a government, and as individuals, we have the power — and the responsibility — to protect the environment we share.

Let this Earth Month move us from awareness to action. In our homes. In our offices. In our communities.

This Earth Month, we stand united under our theme: "Our Power, Our Planet" — a reminder that the future of our environment is not in the hands of a few, but in the collective will of us all. The power to change starts with you.
