From challenges to change, DILG Ilocos Norte kicks off ProcureSmart โ a three-phase initiative aimed at strengthening procurement efficiency and addressing operational gaps following the delegation of procurement functions from the Provincial Office to the Regional Office.
As part of Phase I, the office conducted a retooling activity for Provincial Office personnel, with Regional Office experts from the Regional Planning Office and Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) - Budget, Accounting, General Services Office, Supply, and Human Resource, providing technical guidance and addressing procurement concerns during the open forum.
Moving forward, Phase II will establish a centralized Procurement Repository for easier document management, while Phase III will enhance transparency and accountability through procurement monitoring and tracking via DILG INside, the officeโs FLEKS page.
Through ProcureSmart, DILG Ilocos Norte continues to champion responsive, transparent, and future-ready public service.
