The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Las Navas Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of SFO1 Christopher A Sorio, Officer-in-Charge, actively participated in the “Serbisyo Las Navasnon Caravan” spearheaded by Municipal Mayor John Philbert S. Tan, in collaboration with various government agencies, held at Barangay Quezon, Las Navas, Northern Samar.

As part of the activity, BFP personnel conducted a fire safety awareness campaign and distributed informational flyers to residents to promote fire prevention, preparedness, and safety.

07 OCTOBER 2026 | COLEGIO DE LAS NAVAS BATCH 2 BS CRIMINOLOGY INTERNS’ 17-DAY ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

Las Navas Fire Station, headed by SFO1 Christopher A Sorio, Officer-in-Charge, warmly welcomed 29 Criminology interns from Colegio de Las Navas (Batch 2) for their 17-day On-the-Job Training (OJT). On their first day, the interns participated in an orientation covering the station’s rules, policies, procedures, responsibilities, proper conduct, and safety protocols to ensure their compliance and safety throughout the training period. This initiative provides the students with valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and insight into the fire service profession as they prepare for their future careers.
