The activity is part of the PNP’s disaster response and humanitarian assistance efforts, aimed at ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of evacuees affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and flooding. “DISASTER RESPONSE AMID HABAGAT”

On August 29, 2026, at about 8:00 AM, the Las Piñas City Police Station under the leadership of PCOL FERMIN D ARMENDAREZ, III, Acting Chief of Police, conducted disaster response operations amid the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). The activities included the accounting of Search and Rescue (SAR) personnel, coordination meetings with the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), inspection of SAR equipment, Clearing Operation, monitoring of flood-affected areas, and visits to evacuation areas.
