LOOK! In support of the Bureau of Fire Protection’s continuing efforts to strengthen emergency preparedness and promote the safety and security of learners and school personnel. The Lawaan Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Tereso B Oyzon Jr, together with the PNP Lawaan actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents.
As part of the exercise, personnel from the Lawaan Fire Station observed the implementation of the drill and provided valuable recommendations aimed at improving emergency preparedness, inter-agency coordination, response protocols, evacuation procedures, and the overall safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel.
The activity provided an opportunity to evaluate the preparedness and response capabilities of the school community while identifying areas that may require further enhancement in dealing with potential active attack situations and other emergencies. It likewise emphasized the importance of strong collaboration and effective coordination between schools, emergency responders, and other concerned agencies in creating a safer and more secure learning environment.
The Lawaan Fire Station remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting lives, enhancing community resilience, and fostering a culture of preparedness, vigilance, and public safety.
