Leganes Fire Station personnel conducted a Skills Inventory and Refresher Program on β€œPUNCTURED WOUND” under the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to assess and strengthen essential responder skills. The activity enhanced personnel’s ability to accurately assess patients, recognize changes in their condition, and provide timely and appropriate emergency medical careβ€”strengthening their readiness to respond effectively to emergencies in the community.

As part of the continuing efforts to promote public safety and emergency preparedness, and under the leadership of BFP Officer-in-Charge FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, DSC, through BFP Region 6 Regional Director FCSUPT EDWIN P. VARGAS, DSC, and FSUPT MELANIE G. HABAWEI, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal – Province of Iloilo, the program further strengthened the discipline, teamwork, and professionalism of the firefighters.

The activity served as an important initiative to assess, reinforce, and strengthen the personnel’s fundamental skills, knowledge, and response capabilities in providing effective and prompt firefighting and emergency services to the community.
