R𝐂𝐌𝐁-𝟓 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐀 𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄

The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch No. 5 (RCMB-5) conducted a plant-level consultation meeting with the management and worker representatives of CASA VER AMORE along Karangahan Boulevard, Tabaco City, Albay, on August 24, 2026.

The consultation focused on the Branch’s Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) and Grievance Machinery (GM) Programs—mechanisms that promote constructive dialogue, strengthen workplace relationships, and provide effective avenues for addressing concerns and resolving issues at the workplace level.

The activity provided management and workers with an opportunity to better understand how these mechanisms can contribute to a more harmonious, productive, and cooperative workplace. The management expressed its positive outlook toward the programs and conveyed its commitment to establishing and strengthening appropriate LMC and GM mechanisms within the workplace.

The consultation was facilitated by the Branch’s technical staff, namely Senior LEO Hazel G. Caroche, LEO III Jennifer Mae A. Novela, and Admin Aide II Jerry John Roanes.

Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives to prioritize the welfare and protection of Filipino workers, the Department of Labor and Employment reminds workers who might suffer job-related injuries caused by bad weather conditions are entitled to a comprehensive range of benefits and support services under the Employees’ Compensation (EC) Program of the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC), designed to safeguard their health and financial security.

With inclement weather heightening risks across the country, ECC Executive Director Atty. Kaima Via B. Velasquez highlighted the Commission's commitment to covering workers exposed to rain-related hazards or weather-related commuting accidents.
