Telecommunications and connectivity must never hinder safety; it must coexist with and promote public safety.

Together with the City Government of Legazpi City through the City Engineer's Office, Department of Information and Communications Technology Region V (DICT RV), Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ALECO), Public Telecommunications Entities (PTEs), Cable TV Operators, and Internet Service Providers, NTC Regional Office No. V conducted "OPERASYONG "LINIS-KABLE" SA KAHABAAN NG RIZAL STREET."

Through this joint initiative, low-hanging cable wires are being cleared along Rizal St., Legazpi City to ensure hazard-free roads for motorists and pedestrians. By addressing improperly positioned and hazardous cables, we help prevent accidents, protect lives and property, and maintain a safer environment for everyone.

The activity aims to promote safer telecommunications installations through proper coordination, regular inspection, and timely corrective measures among concerned stakeholders.
