The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board V (RTWPB V) proudly received the 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 from the Government Financial Management Innovators Circle, Inc. (GFMIC).

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board V (RTWPB V) held a Turnover and Send-Off Ceremony on September 21, 2026, at the RTWPB V Office, Washington Drive, Legazpi City, marking a meaningful transition in leadership.

The ceremony formally marked the turnover of leadership from the outgoing Board Chairperson, Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, CPA, to the incoming Board Chairperson, RD Geraldine M. Panlilio, CESO IV.

The occasion provided an opportunity to honor the outgoing Chairperson for his valuable
contributions and dedicated service to the Board, the ceremony likewise welcomed the incoming
Board Chairperson as RTWPB V continues to uphold its commitment to promoting fair wages,
productivity, and responsive labor and employment services in the Bicol Region.

As one chapter closes and another begins, RTWPB V looks forward to continued collaboration and dedicated service in fostering a more productive and empowered workforce.

As part of the “𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼: 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿,” the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘-𝗔𝗠𝗣) Awarding was also held today, September 14, 2026, at the LCC Event Center, Legazpi City.

The wage consultation for the Private Security Sector is currently underway today August 26, 2026 at The Concourse Convention Center, Legazpi City. With 22 Labor Representatives and
24 Management Representatives for a meaningful dialogue on wage concerns and
the welfare of workers in the sector.

Through open consultation and collaboration, labor and management stakeholders come
together to share perspectives and work toward fair, responsive, and sustainable wage policies.

In his message, Sec. Tol emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration, unity, and commitment in delivering responsive labor programs and services for Filipino workers.

RTWPB V remains committed to supporting the Department’s mission and advancing initiatives that promote fair wages, productivity, and the welfare of workers and employers in the Bicol Region.

As part of the Bicol Construction Expo (BICONEX), the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Productivity in Construction Seminar is currently conducted through the collaborative efforts of Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Region V and Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) V.

Held on August 7, 2026 at the Legazpi City Convention Center, the seminar brought together construction industry stakeholders to strengthen their knowledge on occupational safety and health, workplace compliance, and productivity improvement.

The activity highlighted the importance of integrating safety and productivity in the construction industry—because a safer workplace is not only a healthier workplace, but also a more efficient, productive, and sustainable one.
