3CMOC Pays Courtesy Call To Governor Of Masbate

MILAGROS, Masbate โ€“ The 3rd Civil-Military Operations (Negotiator) Company of the 9th Civil-Military Operations Battalion, conducted a courtesy visit to Hon. Atty. Ricardo T. Kho, Governor of Masbate, at the Masbate Provincial Capitol on June 4, 2026.

The activity was led by 1st Lt. Xexer Z. Delos Santos , Commanding Officer of 3CMOC together with 2nd Lt. Maria Carmela Pedregosa, Platoon Leader, as part of the unitโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen collaboration with local government stakeholders in promoting peace, security, and development in the province.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ongoing initiatives, programs, and collaborative efforts aimed at preventing insurgency, countering extremist influence, and sustaining peace and stability throughout Masbate.

The courtesy visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Provincial Government of Masbate in advancing peace and development initiatives and ensuring the continued delivery of government services to local communities throughout the province.

The 9th Civil-Military Operations (Kaagapay) Battalion welcomed representatives of the Air Materiel Wing Savings & Loan Association, Inc. (AMWSLAI) during a courtesy visit at the battalion headquarters on June 4, 2026.

Lt. Col. Sharon E. Constantino, Acting Commanding Officer, warmly welcome Ms. Hilda C. Villajuan, Branch Manager of AMWSLAI, who led the delegation together with Ms. Jenilyn C. Absalon, Branch Accountant; Ms. Nanette G. Nuรฑez, Loans and Credit Specialist; and Ms. Coleen May V. Barbaza, Marketing Specialist.

The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and partnership between AMWSLAI and the unit, particularly in promoting programs and services that support the welfare and financial well-being of military personnel and their families.

The activity highlighted the importance of collaboration among partner institutions in providing responsive and meaningful services to members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The 9th Civil-Military Operations (Kaagapay) Battalion paid a courtesy call to the Acting Brigade Commander of the 903rd Infantry Brigade, Castilla, Sorsogon on June 6, 2026.

Lt. Col. Sharon Constantino , Acting Commanding Officer of the unit, met with Col. Angelo Lutera, Acting Brigade Commander, to discuss matters of mutual concern and strengthen coordination between the battalion and brigade headquarters.

The visit was also attended by Lt. Col. Jay Dayap, Brigade Executive Officer, and Maj. Janine Israel, Personnel Officer and Acting Civil-Military Operations Officer.

The engagement provided an opportunity to enhance collaboration, discuss ongoing programs and initiatives, and reaffirm the battalionโ€™s commitment to supporting the brigadeโ€™s mission and operational priorities. It likewise underscored the importance of effective leadership, unity of effort, and strong inter-unit cooperation in advancing civil-military operations within the area of responsibility.

The courtesy call reflects the continued commitment of the Kaagapay Battalion to fostering productive professional relationships and contributing to peace, development, and community engagement through coordinated and mission-oriented efforts

The 9th Civil-Military Operations (Kaagapay) Battalion participated in the Presentation of Surrenderees conducted by the 2nd Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, in Brgy. Campana, Uson, Masbate on June 2, 2026.

Lt. Col. Sharon E. Constantino, Acting Commanding Officer together with 1st Lt. Xexer Z. Delos Santos, Company Commander, and 2nd Lt. Maria Carmela Pedregosa, Platoon Leader attended the activity of 3rd CMO Company.

Also present during the engagement were Lt. Col. Lazaro D. Quigao Jr., Commanding Officer and 1st Lt. Michael Roy S. Rivera, Company Executive Officer of 2nd Infantry Battalion; PEMS Ariel L. Espiel, representative of the Chief of Police of Uson; Engineer Ernie Sanjurjo, ABE; and Hon. Meliano T. Sirafin, Punong Barangay.

The activity underscored the strong partnership among the Philippine Army, law enforcement agencies, local government units, and community leaders in advancing peace and security initiatives. It also demonstrated the government's continuing efforts to encourage reconciliation, strengthen community engagement, and foster sustainable development in the province of Masbate.

The 9th Civil-Military Operations (Kaagapay) Battalion conducted a command visit to the 3rd Civil-Military Operations (Negotiator) Company in Milagros, Masbate on June 2, 2026.

Lt. Col. Sharon E. Constantino, Acting Commanding Officer visited the company as part of the unit's continuing efforts to strengthen leadership engagement, assess operational activities, and enhance coordination with its subordinate units.

During her engagement with the troops, Lt. Col. Constantino emphasized the Battalion's leadership framework, BRIDGEโ€”Building People, Building Capability, Reinforcing Morale Always, Instilling Discipline, Developing Leaders at All Levels, Guiding Responsible Resource Management, and Ensuring Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness. She highlighted the importance of these principles in fostering a capable, disciplined, and mission-ready organization.
