The Poster Making Contest of Linggo ng Kabataan 3 has officially concluded, bringing together young artists who showcased their creativity, artistic skills, and unique perspectives through their respective artworks.

Participants transformed blank canvases into meaningful visual presentations, demonstrating how art can serve as a powerful platform for youth expression and creativity.

The Poster Making Contest is currently underway as young participants showcase their creativity and artistic talents by transforming their ideas into meaningful visual masterpieces.

Through colors, concepts, and creativity, the participants are given the opportunity to express their perspectives while demonstrating their skills in visual arts as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 3.

Today, September 2, we honor the life, courage, and patriotism of General Simeon Arboleda Ola, a proud son of Guinobatan, Albay, and a symbol of Bicolano bravery and love for country.

As we commemorate Simeon Ola Day, let us remember the courage and resilience he demonstrated in defending our freedom and standing firm for his homeland. His story reminds us that true heroism lives on through the values we carry and the communities we continue to serve.

IPANALOKAL is a youth leadership and governance training designed to help aspiring SK officials better understand the demands, responsibilities, and opportunities that come with public service, while preparing them for transformative leadership and meaningful governance.

𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲🎙️

Knowledge is one of the strongest tools we can use to build a healthier, safer, and more informed community. As part of the celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Dap-Dap conducted “Teen Talk: Empower, Protect, and Be Aware” on July 25, 2026 at the Barangay Dap-Dap.

The session focused on Adolescent Health and Development, HIV Awareness and Prevention, and Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, providing young people with a safe space to learn, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations about their health and well-being.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Ma’am Yvonne and Ma’am Rafty A. Azores for sharing their time, knowledge, and valuable insights with our youth. Your efforts continue to help empower young people to make informed and responsible decisions.
Together, let us break the stigma, encourage open conversations, and choose awareness over misinformation.

𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐘 𝐀𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐘🎗️

Today, we commemorate Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., a prominent opposition leader during the period of Martial Law (1972–1981). He was assassinated on August 21, 1983, upon his return from exile. His death sparked widespread public outrage, strengthened the growing resistance against the Marcos regime, and contributed to the historic People Power Revolution of 1986, which restored democracy in the Philippines.

Under Republic Act No. 9256, August 21 is observed as a special non-working holiday in recognition of Ninoy Aquino’s sacrifice and his significant role in the struggle for freedom and democracy.

His legacy continues to remind us of the power of courage, sacrifice, and love for country:

“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫.”

𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰-𝗛 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗽-𝗗𝗮𝗽🍀

An inspiring and meaningful initiative toward youth development and agricultural empowerment, the establishment of the 4-H Club in Barangay Dap-Dap began with an initial meeting with SK and 4-H Club Legazpi on June 28, 2026, to learn about 4-H and explore the opportunities it can provide in agriculture, leadership, and community development.

This was followed by the 4-H Club Orientation and Election of Officers on July 24, 2026, held in Barangay Dap-Dap, Legazpi City. The orientation introduced the youth to the programs, advocacies, and purpose of the 4-H Club, while the election provided an opportunity for young participants to take ownership and assume leadership within the organization.

Our appreciation to Mr. Vladymer Alarzar, President of 4-H Club Legazpi, for helping us establish the 4-H Club in Dap-Dap, and to Ms. Sheila R. Nas, City Agriculturist, for sharing her valuable insights about 4-H, the importance of agriculture, and the vital role of the youth in strengthening the agricultural sector.

Congratulations to the set of officers of 4-H Club Dap-Dap Chapter headed by Mr. Sam B. Bahoy. We hope to cultivate not only agricultural knowledge and skills, but also leadership, responsibility, innovation, and a genuine heart for community service among the youth.
