The Provincial Planning and Development Office - Albay, through the Albay Digital Transformation Center in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT Region V - Bicol), has successfully completed the face-to-face phase of its free training program, Freelancing โ General Virtual Assistants 2.0: A Paradigm Shift in AI-Powered Interaction on July 7, 2026.
The program, which began on July 1, adopts a hybrid format consisting of five days of in-person training, followed by virtual sessions scheduled from July 8 to 14, and an online campaign set from July 15 to 28.
During the training, participants engaged in presentations, workshops, and question-and-answer sessions aimed at enhancing their freelancing and virtual assistance competencies. They also received certificates for completing the Cyber Hygiene and DigiTalino workshops.
The closing ceremony was graced by Provincial Administrator Engr. Raul E. Rosal and PPDO Officer-in-Charge Engr. Eduardo R. Matias Jr., who congratulated the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to continue learning and pursue opportunities in the growing freelancing industry.
Participants who complete the full program are expected to receive certificates from both PPDO and DICT during the closing ceremony.
