Honored to serve as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Ibalong Youth Awards Ceremony in Legazpi City, Albay, celebrating the passion, excellence, and meaningful contributions of young people who continue to make a difference in their communities. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the City Government of Legazpi, the City Mayor - Hon. Hisham B. Ismail, and the City Youth Development Officer - Mrs. Roxanne D. Baldoza, for creating a platform that recognizes and inspires young leaders. The Legazpi City Youth Development Office (LYDO) once again invites all aspiring Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials in the City of Legazpi to ๐—œ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—ก๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ž๐—”๐—Ÿ, a training on youth leadership and governance designed to prepare young people for the responsibilities that come with public service.

IPANALOKAL provides an avenue for aspiring SK officials to gain a deeper understanding of SK leadership, governance, roles, responsibilities, and the importance of meaningful youth representation in local governance.

As young people prepare to take on leadership roles in their communities, the LYDO recognizes the importance of equipping them with the knowledge, values, and perspectives necessary to become informed, responsible, and responsive youth leaders.

Coffee in one hand, another proposal in the other, and always ready to push for anything and everything that can benefit the youth. And when limitations say โ€œhanggang dito lang,โ€ Maโ€™am Rox will usually ask, โ€œPero paano kung ganito?โ€ Because behind all the kulit, follow-ups, and persistent advocacy is one simple reason: โ€œPara sa Jovenes nin Legazpi.โ€
