RMU5 INITIATES MANDATORY DRUG TESTING TO REINFORCE A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE

LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY — In line with its commitment to uphold integrity, discipline, and accountability, the Regional Maritime Unit 5 (RMU5), under the leadership of PLTCOL CARL OMAR H FIEL, initiated a mandatory drug testing for its personnel through the assistance of the Regional Forensic Unit 5 (RFU5) at the RMU5 Headquarters, Barangay Rawis, Legazpi City, Albay, on October 21, 2026.

The initiative is aligned with the Philippine National Police (PNP) 5-Focused Agenda, particularly its thrust on Integrity Monitoring, and supports the PNP’s continuing internal cleansing efforts to promote a drug-free and accountable police organization.

The activity aims to ensure personnel’s compliance with existing PNP policies while reinforcing discipline, accountability, and fitness for duty. It also reflects RMU5’s proactive approach to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct among its ranks.

Through this initiative, RMU5 reaffirms its commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability, strengthening its efforts to maintain a drug-free workplace and ensure that every personnel remains dedicated to serving the public with honor, excellence, and professionalism.

PNP-MARITIME GROUP, ARESTADO ANG TOP 10 (MUNICIPAL LEVEL) MOST WANTED PERSON SA ZAMBOANGA CITY

ZAMBOANGA CITY, October 15, 2026 - Arestado ang isang Top 10 (Municipal Level) Most Wanted Person sa isang intelligence-driven operation na isinagawa ng 1st Special Operations Unit, katuwang ang iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan sa Barangay Culianan, Zamboanga City.

Isinagawa ang pag aresto sa bisa ng warrant of arrest kaugnay ng mga kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165, o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, na nakatala sa Criminal Case Nos. 40021 at 40022.

Dinala ang akusado sa Zamboanga City Police Station 4–Culianan para sa dokumentasyon at kaukulang disposisyon.

PNP-MARITIME GROUP, ARESTADO ANG ISANG WANTED PERSON SA OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, October 16, 2026 — Arestado ang isang wanted person sa bisa ng warrant of arrest sa isinagawang operasyon ng Occidental Mindoro Maritime Police Station (MARPSTA), katuwang ang San Jose Municipal Police Station, dakong 9:05 ng umaga sa Barangay Caminawit, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

Ang warrant ay inilabas noong October 7, 2026 ng Municipal Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, kaugnay ng kasong nakasaad sa Article 333 ng Revised Penal Code o Acts of Lasciviousness, sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. MTC13944, na may inirekomendang piyansang PhP36,000.00.

Ang naaresto ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Occidental Mindoro MARPSTA para sa dokumentasyon at kaukulang disposisyon.

PNP-MARITIME GROUP, NAGSAGAWA NG MAGKAHIWALAY NA OPERASYON KONTRA ILIGAL NA PANGINGISDA SA CAVITE

CAVITE CITY, Oktubre 16, 2026 — Matagumpay na nagsagawa ang mga tauhan ng Cavite Maritime Police Station (MARPSTA) ng magkakahiwalay na Seaborne Patrol Operations sa karagatan ng Cavite City, na nagresulta sa pagkahuli ng tatlong bangkang umano’y sangkot sa iligal na pangingisda.

Siyam na indibidwal ang naaresto dahil sa paglabag sa Section 95 ng Republic Act No. 10654 o Use of Active Gear in Municipal Waters, Bays and Other Fishery Management Areas, na nagbabawal sa paggamit ng aktibong kagamitan sa pangingisda sa mga sakop na lugar.

Kabilang sa mga nasamsam ay mga kagamitan sa pangingisda, tatlong makina, at iba pang produktong-dagat, na may kabuuang tinatayang halaga na PhP1,783,000.00.

Dinala ang siyam na indibidwal at mga nasamsam na ebidensya sa Cavite MARPSTA para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at disposisyon, habang inihahanda ang mga kinakailangang dokumento para sa pagsasampa ng kaukulang kaso.
