Municipality of Lemery is a fourth class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 27,441 people and has a Land Area of 11,990.00 sq. kms.[3] The municipality of lemery is relatively depressed agricultural town in the northern part of the Province of Iloilo, its link to the northern coastal traffic , a concrete road that extends to

the opposite direction to the Municipality of San Rafael, then to Passi and the central traffic. Lemery is mountainous in the Northwestern and South-Eastern Part and hilly on the Northeast and Southeast. Wedge between these elevated section are fertile plains extending to the North. This portion of level land is concentrated on agricultural activity and planted with palay, corn legumes and rootcrops. For a past economic growth of the Municipality of Lemery, in the year 2004 under the administration of Hon. Mayor Lowell Arban, Lemery Fire Station was erected with One (1) Firetruck and Four (4) personnel headed by SFO2 Winston Leada, designated as Municipal Fire Marshal of said station.
