In observance of the Holy Week, please be informed of the office schedule of the Leon Water District:

* April 2–3, 2026 (Maundy Thursday to Good Friday) – CLOSED

Regular office operations will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Please note that water pumping operations will continue to ensure uninterrupted water service during this period.

Tulad, we are doing the installation of 1.5 submersible pump to new source (pump-3) at brgy Talacu-an (Salvanis property) nga maka augment sa aton water supply on areas we serve.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 on flexible work arrangements in government agencies, Leon Water District informs the public that it will implement a Four-Day Compressed Work Week starting March 10, 2026.

NEW OFFICE SCHEDULE

Working Days: Monday to Thursday�
Office Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

All over-the-counter transactions, such as:�• Payment of water bills�• Applications and other office transactions
shall only be conducted from Monday to Thursday following the office schedule.

However, the following services will continue from Monday to Friday to ensure uninterrupted service to all concessionaires:
• Pump Operations – Will continue under a shifting schedule�• Maintenance and Field Personnel – Remain on-call to promptly respond to leaks, service interruptions, and other concerns

All concessionaires are advised to plan their visits and transactions according to the new office schedule.

Dear valued customers,

As we approach the dry season, ang Leon Water District is naga paninguwa guid nga mataw-an ang tanan ka serbisyo sa tubig. However, with the possibility of drought and rationalized water service, gina encourage namon ang tanan to take proactive steps para mag tipid kag mag tipon ka tubig umpisa tulad.

Here’s what you can do to stay prepared:
1️⃣ Conserve Water Daily
- Turn off taps while brushing your teeth or washing dishes.
- Fix leaks promptly.
- Use water-efficient appliances.

2️⃣ Mag Bakal ukun Mag Tigana ka mga Pwede ma sudlan kag ma stockan ka tubig
- Purchase water storage tanks and gallons to keep a safe reserve.
- Ensure containers are clean and sealed to maintain water quality.

We are doing our best to supply water to all our communities, but with these safety measures, we can work together to minimize disruptions and ensure your household remains comfortable and prepared.

🔢WE ARE HIRING: Accounting Processsor A

Deadline of submission of CV: February 27, Friday.

Qualifications:

* Graduate of Accounting, Finance, or any related course
* With basic knowledge of accounting processes
* Non-Accounting graduates are welcome, provided they have relevant working experience in an accounting department
* CSC Eligibility (Prof or Honor Graduate)

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare full-cycle financial statements in accordance with reporting and regulatory requirements by COA, LWUA and the agency
* Maintain full-cycle accounting records, including general ledgers, journal entries, closing entries, income statement, balance Sheet and bank/account reconciliations
* Process payroll and manage employee benefits and mandated statutory contributions (GSIS, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth)
* Ensure BIR compliance, including timely filing of VAT, withholding taxes on income or on goods/services, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
* Assist in addressing COA audit findings and strengthening internal controls
* Manage payments and reporting for GSIS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
* Coordinate with National Government Agencies (NGAs) for regulatory compliance
* Review supporting documents for disbursements and collections
* Verify billing reports, ORs, and liquidation reports
* Handle leave benefits for regular employees

Employment Status: Regular
Salary: ₱22,423 gross monthly + 2,000 (ACA -PERA)

AN ORDER DECLARING NOVEMEBER 26, 2025, WEDNESDAY, AS REST DAY FOR ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, SCHOOL EMPLOYEES, TEACHERS, AND STUDENTS IN ALL LEVELS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEON, IN LINE WITH THE CELEBRATION AND CULMINATING ACTIVITY OF KAING FESTIVAL

In recognition of the successful completion of the major activities of the Kaing Festival, and to allow our community time to rest and recover after the celebration, November 26, 2025 (Wednesday) is hereby declared a REST DAY for all government employees, school employees, teachers, and students in all levels within the Municipality of Leon.

This declaration is also made with consideration of the current weather conditions, as recent weather disturbances continue to affect the area. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents remains a top priority as we close this year’s celebration.

We encourage everyone to take this time to rest, stay updated on official weather advisories, and observe safety precautions.

To all consumers of Leon Water District:

Due to Typhoon Uwan, we advise everyone to store sufficient water for the next two (2) days — November 10 to 11, 2025 — while our pumping stations are still in operation.

In preparation for possible power interruptions, our team might be switching the motor controls to manual mode to prevent damage caused by power fluctuations at any time. This precaution is necessary to protect our equipment and ensure that our operations can resume safely after the typhoon.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Tingala kamo nga nagbalik na ang kuryente pero wala pa tubig.
Rason: Taas pa ang boltahe sang NGCP (250 volts), samtang ang aton motor kay 240 volts lang ang limit.
Kung piriton paandaron, masunog ang motor kag mas maglala ang problema.

Maga operate kita tulad nga aga gamit ang aton generator para maka resume ang aton serbisyo sa tubig.
