The spirit of giving is alive at Palo National High School.
The school recently received another heartwarming round of donations, this time from one of its own.
Alumna Ms. Larres Asayas, Batch 2018, a passionate cake baker, generously donated stainless mixing bowls and flat sheet pans for the Senior High School Baking Class under Mrs. Belinda Clavecillas.
For Ms. Asayas, it was more than just giving back equipment. It was giving back inspiration.
"I just feel inspired by the students in this class. Baking is an art, and I want them to feel even more supported by the people in the same community," she shared.
Her gift comes at a perfect time, as the baking class continues to hone the next generation of homegrown talents.
And there’s more reason to celebrate. Palo NHS, led by Principal Lorlita Ricablanca and under the supervision of PSDS Philip Teraza, proudly shares that Ms. Asayas was recently recognized by the Wedding Suppliers Association of the Philippines (WSAP) as one of the Top 5 among the Top 10 Wedding Cake Suppliers in Eastern Visayas region.
From a student with a dream in Palo NHS to one of the region’s most sought-after cake artists, her journey is proof of what passion, hard work, and community can do.
We are mighty proud of you, Ms. Asayas. Continue to soar high!
