The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), led by the Municipal Mayor Novelita Sarmen and Chairman of Cooperative and Livelihood, Hon. Hernalyn Urbiztondo Layno, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Officer and in collaboration with the local government, has officially handed over the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) project to the beneficiaries of Barangay Ban-as and Barangay St. Christine in the Municipality of Lianga.

This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to empower communities by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities. Through this project, beneficiaries will gain access to essential resources, training, and support, equipping them with the means to improve their economic well-being and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
