Sa temang ito, naging tampok ang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamalaki sa wikang Filipino ng ating mga Dicahisian learners sa mga pang-umagang gawain ng Kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wika 2026.

Mula sa makabuluhang pambungad na bahagi ng programa hanggang sa mga natatanging pagtatanghal at patimpalak, pinatunayan ng ating mga mag-aaral na ang wika ay hindi lamang instrumento ng komunikasyon, kundi tulay din sa kaalaman, kultura, at pagkakaisa.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

On behalf of Diatagon Catholic High School, Inc. (DCHSI), we acknowledge the concern regarding the leaked conversation involving some of our learners raised on August 22, 2026 by the concerned person. Both coaches have already agreed the specific date of proper counseling.

Upon becoming aware of the matter, the school immediately took appropriate action. On August 23, 2026, the learners involved were provided with proper counseling and guidance to help clarify the circumstances and understand the underlying concerns surrounding the incident.

Effective August 25, 2026, the concerned parties, together with the learners involved, were given the opportunity to participate in a proper forum to openly discuss the matter, clarify the circumstances, and promote understanding and accountability.

We would also like to clarify that the DCHSI basketball players were not involved in the leaked conversation or in the issue being addressed. The learners directly involved have already expressed their apologies and have been guided to take responsibility for their actions.

We recognize that incidents such as this remind us of the importance of being responsible and mindful of our words, actions, and interactions with others, especially in this digital age.

As an educational institution, DCHSI remains committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where concerns are addressed through proper communication, guidance, and accountability. With God's guidance, we are grateful that the matter has been properly addressed and clarified.

We sincerely hope that this experience will serve as a meaningful reminder for everyone to exercise greater care, respect, and consideration for one another's feelings and dignity.

Diatagon Catholic High School, Inc. remains committed to resolving concerns fairly, responsibly, and with the best interests of our learners and the entire school community.

With hearts devoted to faith and service, the Grade 10 – Mother of Divine Grace learners had the privilege of serving as this week’s Mass Sponsors, helping lead the DCHSI community in a solemn and meaningful celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

The celebration reminded us of the importance of faithfulness in our relationship with God. The homily centered on His promise: “You will be my people, and I will be your God.” It calls us to remain faithful to God, trusting in His presence, promises, and unfailing love.

Faithfulness means choosing God each day, even when challenges come our way. As His people, we are called to live with trust, obedience, love, and commitment, knowing that God remains faithful to us in every season of our lives.

May every Holy Mass strengthen our faithfulness to God and remind us that we belong to Him. May we continue to walk in faith, live with love, and remain steadfast in our commitment to follow His ways.

The celebration of Buwan ng Wika officially began with a meaningful morning filled with creativity, talent, and love for our Filipino language and culture!

The Buwan ng Wika 2026 Morning Activities featured the Malikhaing Pagsulat ng Tula, Malikhaing Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, and Poster Making Contest, where learners showcased their imagination, literary talents, and artistic skills.

These activities were facilitated by the different assigned facilitators and coordinated by Tr. Joyce Ann A. Cortez, LPT, whose efforts helped make the morning activities organized, engaging, and memorable.

Sa bawat likhang sining at salitang isinulat, buhay na buhay ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika! 🇵🇭❤️
