A 2-Day Refresher Course on Classroom Management for Child Development Workers (CDWs) was successfully conducted on June 3-4, 2026, aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of CDWs in creating a positive, organized, and child-friendly learning environment for young learners.

As part of the training, a mock assessment was conducted at BAN-AS Child Development Center (CDC) to help prepare the center for upcoming evaluations and ensure compliance with established standards for quality early childhood care and development services. The activity provided participants with the opportunity to assess their readiness, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen their capacity to deliver responsive and effective early childhood programs.

Through continuous learning and professional development, the municipality reaffirms its commitment to providing quality early childhood care and education for every child.

These recognitions reflect the unwavering commitment of the Municipality of Lianga in promoting the rights, welfare, protection, and development of children, women, and vulnerable sectors through effective local governance, strong inter-agency collaboration, and dedicated public service.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the leadership and support of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Amado M. Layno, Jr., the Sangguniang Bayan, partner agencies, barangay officials, and all members of the MCPC and MCAT-VAWC.

Special recognition is extended to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), serving as the Secretariat and one of the lead offices behind the implementation, coordination, documentation, and monitoring of child protection and anti-VAWC initiatives in the municipality.

Together, we remain committed to building a safer, more protective, and child-friendly community for all.
