Magandang araw po. As of 9:50pm, bumalik na po sa normal na operasyon ang linya ng tubig mula sa ating Water Source at kasalukuyan pong isinasagawa ang flushing operation.

Gayunpaman, mayroon pa rin pong ilang barangay na maaaring makaranas ng mahina o wala pang suplay ng tubig sa ngayon habang nagpapatuloy ang naturang operasyon.

Magandang araw po. Sa kasalukuyan ay malabo ang tubig sa Pag-Oring Water Source kaya patuloy namin itong mino-monitor.

Bilang pansamantalang hakbang, isinailalim muna sa temporary shutdown ang Pag-Oring Water Source upang maiwasan ang pagdaloy ng malabong tubig sa linya ng distribusyon. Dahil dito, posibleng makaranas ng mahinang suplay o pansamantalang pagkawala ng tubig ang mga lugar na nasa dulong bahagi ng linya ng distribusyon.

Magbibigay kami agad ng update sa oras na luminaw na ang tubig at maibalik sa normal ang operasyon.

📢 CALL FOR GEODETIC SURVEYING SERVICE PROVIDER

Libmanan Water District (LIWAD) is inviting qualified service providers to submit price quotations for the project detailed below.

Project Name: Geodetic Surveying Services for the Bikal Water Source Development Project
Location: Sungkulan Water Source, Brgy. Bikal, Libmanan, Camarines Sur

KEY SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Conduct segregation survey, field survey, and boundary/lot determination at Brgy. Bikal, Libmanan.
2. Secure Survey Authority (SA) from DENR CENRO Sipocot and submit returns for approval to DENR Region V Surveys and Mapping Division.
3. Plant/install standard concrete lot boundary monuments (mojones).
4. Prepare signed and sealed Lot Plan, Technical Description (TD), Lot Data Computation (LDC) sheets, and digital files (PDF and CAD/DWG).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Duly licensed Geodetic Engineer (PRC licensed under R.A. 8560).
2. Accredited/recognized to transact with DENR CENRO Sipocot and DENR Region V.
3. Possess survey-grade GNSS/Total Station equipment calibrated and registered per DAO 2007-29.
4. Prior experience in DENR public land segregation surveys and public infrastructure site surveys is PREFERRED.

LIWAD Joins TESDA in Advancing Water Utility Skills Development

LIBMANAN, Camarines Sur – Libmanan Water District (LIWAD) hosted and participated in the Competency Standards (CS) Development Workshop in Water Resource Facility Operation on August 4–5, 2026, and the Pre-Orientation on the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) Registration for Plumbing NC I and Plumbing NC II on August 5, 2026, conducted by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Office – Camarines Sur.

Engr. Rodolfo A. Jimenez Jr., General Manager of LIWAD, together with the district’s Production & Water Quality Division, joined the two-day workshop alongside the Technical Working Group (TWG) composed of Roberto A. De Las Llagas and Glenda B. Caguco of TESDA; Maribel B. Yang and Cherie Cuesta of the Camarines Sur Institute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (CASIFMAS); Alfredo Amparado Jr. of Ragay Polytechnic Skills Institute (RPSI); and Emily Guimpol and Michael Angelo Neo of TESDA Regional Training Center (RTC) Pili.

During the two-day activity, the TWG identified the skills and competencies needed by workers in the water resource facility operation sector and discussed recommendations for the development of formal Competency Standards — the same standards that will help define training programs for LIWAD’s own pump station operators, technicians, and supervisors, with the long-term goal of a qualification recognized not only across Bicol region but at the national level.

The EBET orientation, conducted by Ms. Nancy C. Bascuña of TESDA Provincial Office – Camarines Sur, covered the registration process, documentary requirements, and the roles and responsibilities of participating enterprises in implementing competency-based training.

LIWAD is proud to have hosted these back-to-back activities and to take part in shaping competency standards that will benefit not just water districts across the Bicol Region, but water utilities across the Philippines, supporting its commitment to building a highly skilled team equipped to meet the evolving demands of the water utility industry in the country.
