Ang bayan ng Libungan ay isang 1st class municipality na kabilang sa 1st Legislative District ng Cotabato Province. Mayroon itong 20 na barangay, lawak na 172.50 sq.km., at populasyon na 57,776 batay sa 2024 census of population.

Para sa taong 2026, nakatanggap ang bayan ng National Tax Allotment (NTA) na nagkakahalaga ng P303,100,808.00 na ginagamit ng local governement unit sa pagpapatupad ng iba't ibang programa at proyekto, gayundin sa paghahatid ng mga pangunahing serbisyo.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Baguer would like to respectfully clarify that the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program/Presidential Scholarship Program is not an SK-led program.

We also wish to inform everyone that the identification and selection of scholars under this program were undertaken by the Sangguniang Barangay, as part of their implementation of the program. As such, the SK Baguer was not involved in determining or choosing the list of scholars.

We sincerely appreciate everyone's interest and support for programs that benefit our community. For inquiries or concerns regarding the selection process, we encourage you to coordinate with the appropriate office handling the program.
