The Police Regional Office 12 joins the global law enforcement community in observing the International Day of Police Cooperation today, September 7, 2026, with the theme โ€œTogether Against Crime.โ€

The observance highlights the importance of cooperation among law enforcement agencies in addressing crimes that cross geographical boundaries. For PRO 12, strong partnerships, timely intelligence-sharing, and coordinated operations remain essential in strengthening public safety and protecting communities.

Regional Director PBGEN ALAN B MANIBOG emphasized that modern criminal activities require stronger cooperation among law enforcement agencies.

โ€œSa panahon ngayon, ang krimen ay hindi na nalilimitahan ng hangganan ng isang lungsod o bansa. Kaya mahalaga ang matatag na ugnayan at pagtutulungan ng mga law enforcement agencies upang mas mapabilis ang pagbabahagi ng impormasyon, mas mapalakas ang operasyon, at mas maprotektahan ang ating mga mamamayan.โ€ He said.

Personnel of Libungan Municipal Police Station led by PLT PERCIVAL O MODESTO JR, Deputy Chief of Police together with PEMS W***y M Cedeรฑo, MESPO under the supervision of PMAJ ARNOLD A ANDAYA, Chief of Police conducted KAPEHAN SA BARANGAY and dioalogue/pulong-pulong at Barangay Gumaga, Libungan, Cotabato attended by the Barangay Officials, BPAT President, Purok Leaders, BHW and other constituents of said Barangay. This activity aims to make people take part in keeping the community safe, brings everyone closer together and helps strengthen peace and order management to a shared responsibility model, build trust and communication between the community and PNP. Moreover, empowers residents to take part in the safety, strengthens social unity and creates resilient community that addresses security issues before they escalate.
