๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐๐๐ | ๐ฑ๐๐๐ 10, 2026 โ As part of the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", the City Health OfficeโNutrition Division successfully conducted the City-Level On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest on July 10, 2026, at the People's Hall Complex, New City Hall, Ligao City.
The contest gathered talented Registered Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) aged 12 to 18 years old from different barangays of Ligao City. The activity provided an inclusive platform for participants to showcase their artistic talents while promoting the importance of proper nutrition, environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable living through creative poster artworks.
The activity aimed to increase awareness of the strong connection between nutrition and a healthy environment while encouraging young PWDs to become advocates of positive change through art.
After careful evaluation based on relevance to the theme, creativity, artistic quality, and clarity of message, the winners were announced:
โข Grand Prize โ Nicole Ann Aculan, Barangay Catburawan
โข First Prize โ Prince Xian R. Moya, Barangay Oma-Oma
โข Second Prize โ Ma. Francheska C. Patiam, Barangay Pinamaniquian
โข Third Prize โ Gabrielle J. Roperez, Barangay Mahaba
The four remaining contestants received Consolation Prizes and Certificates of Participation in recognition of their creativity, enthusiasm, and meaningful contribution to the celebration.
The City Government of Ligao congratulates all the participants for their outstanding efforts and extends its sincere appreciation to the parents and guardians, the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), the panel of judges, partner agencies, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
