REP. AMATONG, NAKIPAGPULONG SA PCA PARA SA FARM-TO-MARKET ROADS AT SUPORTA SA MGA MAGNINIYOG SA ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE

Nakipagpulong si Zamboanga Del Norte 3rd District Rep. Ian Amatong kay Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Chief Executive Officer at Administrator Dr. Dexter Buted upang talakayin ang pagpapaunlad ng Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs) at ang patuloy na suporta para sa industriya ng niyog sa Ikatlong Distrito ng Zamboanga del Norte.

Layunin ng pulong na mapabilis ang mga kinakailangang proyekto at programang magpapalakas sa kabuhayan ng mga magniniyog at kanilang pamilya sa distrito.

Ayon kay Amatong, tiniyak ng PCA na seryosong ikokonsidera ang kanilang mga kahilingan para sa karagdagang suporta at imprastraktura para sa coconut industry sa lalawigan.

“We got the assurance that our request will be seriously considered,” ani Cong. Ian.

Bukod dito, magsasagawa rin ang PCA ng serye ng medical outreach activities sa distrito para sa mga pamilya ng coconut farmers bilang pangunahing benepisyaryo.

Nagpasalamat si Amatong sa PCA sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan upang mapaunlad ang kabuhayan ng mga magsasaka at mapalakas ang sektor ng agrikultura sa Zamboanga del Norte.

Cong. Ian Amatong met with Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Chief Executive Officer and Administrator Dr. Dexter Buted.

Kani nga meeting kahabin sa Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs) ug sa padayon nga suporta sa industriya sa lubi sa Tersero Distrito sa Zamboanga del Norte, aron mas mapadali ang mga gikinahanglan, ug mapalig-on ug mapalambo ang panginabuhian sa atong mga kaigsuonan.

PCA will also be conducting a series of medical outreach activities in the district targeting the families of coconut farmers as beneficiaries.

Cong. Ian Amatong visited BJMP Chief Jail Director Ruel Silva Rivera at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) National Headquarters in Quezon City today.

The meeting was about improving support for BJMP facilities in the 3rd District of Zamboanga del Norte, particularly in addressing current challenges in jail conditions, operations, and infrastructure.

This follows earlier engagements of Cong. Ian with key law enforcement and jail management officials at his office in Ganase, Liloy.

Cong. Ian expressed hope that Chief Rivera would hear and support the district’s concerns, and conveyed his gratitude for the openness and willingness to help improve conditions on the ground.

TURNOVER OF INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS TODAY

Cong. Ian Amatong led today’s turnover ceremonies in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte, bringing vital infrastructure closer to our communities.

Completed projects turned over:
✅ Construction of Spillway and Approach in Brgy. Jatian
✅ Rehabilitation of Spillway and Approach in Brgy. Jatian
✅ Construction of Multi-Purpose Building (Municipal Tribal Hall)

These projects will help improve mobility, ensure safer passage especially during heavy rains, and provide a dedicated space that honors and serves our Indigenous Peoples and the wider community.

Present today were Board Member JR Brillantes; Sibuco Mayor Joel Ventura; Sibuco Vice Mayor Absar Caril; SB Members Al-Al Naing, Sani Atani, Luz Paslangan, and Michelle Uy; Godod Mayor Richie Uy; Labason Mayor Jed Quimbo; Salug Vice Mayor Michael Buzon; IPMR Provincial Representative Laham Jailani; and IPMR Municipal Representative Akmad Tangkap.

Also present were from the DSWD, District Engineer Jonas Manlangit; Assistant District Engineer Angelie Gaballo; Engr. Joey Paul Estrella (Chief of Construction); Engr. Warlito Balbuena (Chief of Maintenance); Engr. Francisco Velasco (Chief of Quality Control); and Engr. Neil Ambabang (Procurement Division).

Team A proudly honors and appreciates the hardworking men and women of the 3rd District of Zamboanga del Norte and across the Philippines this Labor Day!

Karong adlawa, atong gipasalamatan ang matag adlaw nga paningkamot sa atong mga kaigsuonan labi na sa Tersero Distrito. Sila nga sayo mubangon; sila nga nagpadayon bisan sa kalisod; ug sila nga wala’y hunong nga naningkamot para sa mas maayong kinabuhi sa ilang pamilya.

Team A stands with you. Ang inyong determinasyon mao’y naghatag ug kusog sa among padayon nga paningkamot sa pagserbisyo ug ligdong ug matarong. Among gipasidunggan ilabi na kadtong kugihan ug naningkamot sa pagtabang sa ilang kaugalingon, nga nagpakita nga pinaagi sa kakugi, paglahutay ug pagtuo, mahimong mapalambo ang kinabuhi.

Padayon ang Team A sa pag-uban sa katawhan sa ilang paningkamot kada adlaw!
