Converging for Community Resilience: Mayor Randy J. Macapil leads the 2nd quarter Joint Municipal Peace and Order Council and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, joined by Vice Mayor Rachelle Vienna P. Abudiente, council members including Cpt Anthony Gullem (AFP) and PCAPT Myra Sapie (PNP), Hon. Randy Sialongo, PDEA Agent Jason B. LGU Linamon adamantly condemns illegal recruitment activities and pledges unwavering action to prevent and dismantle such illicit practices. It's crucial to understand that involvement in illegal recruitment is a clear violation of Republic Act No. 9208, also known as the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003. Only the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is authorized to conduct legitimate recruitment activities. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant, promptly report any suspicious recruitment endeavors to the authorities, and stand united against this grave exploitation of human rights.
