To our beloved students, supportive parents, and dedicated teachers:

Due to the effects of Typhoon Luis and the prevailing Habagat rains, face-to-face classes are SUSPENDED today, August 5, 2026, to prioritize the safety and well-being of everyone in our school community.

Guided by the 4H Framework – HINAY under DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, learning continues without interruption. We will shift to MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING (MDL) AND ONLINE LEARNING for the day.

Important Reminders:

- Please check your official class group chats for complete details on lessons and activities.

In line with our commitment to keeping our learners, personnel, and school community safe and protected, Magsaysay Elementary School successfully conducted an awareness and discussion session on Active Threat Preparedness in Schools for our learners and stakeholders.

The session was led by our very own School DRRM Coordinator, Sir John Jissan J. Santos, together with our SDRRM Alternate, Ma'am Hazel L. Posadas. They shared vital insights from the Technical Orientation on Active Threat (Active Shooter Incidents) Contingency Planning, and guided everyone on essential safety measures: how to spot potential threats, staying calm in crisis situations, and following standard safety protocols properly.

This activity aims to strengthen our school’s readiness, alertness, and resilience during emergencies, and build a strong culture of safety, vigilance, and cooperation within our school.

SECOND SUMMATIVE TEST CONDUCTED VIA GOOGLE FORMS

We are proud to share a wonderful milestone in our teaching and learning journey! For the very first time, all Grade 6 learners of Magsaysay Elementary School took their Second Summative Test using Google Forms, a meaningful step toward embracing ICT in our school assessments. This initiative was made possible under the able supervision of our hardworking School Principal, Dr. Sisa S. De Guzman, and through the leadership of our ICT Coordinator, Sir Ryan R. Soriano, who guided the entire process so our learners could take the test smoothly. Our dedicated Grade 6 teachers also worked hand in hand to prepare and encode all test items into Google Forms, ensuring everything is accurate, complete, and ready for use.

Using ICT in conducting examinations brings many great benefits to our school. It is eco-friendly as it drastically reduces the use of coupon bonds and paper waste, helping us care for our environment one assessment at a time. For our teachers, this saves so much time since checking is done automatically, and results are available right away, giving them more opportunity to focus on supporting and guiding their learners instead of spending long hours computing scores and recording grades manually. It also ensures more accurate and organized results, minimizes human error, keeps all data safe and easy to access, and most importantly, helps equip our Grade 6 pupils with important digital skills they will need as they move up to higher levels of learning.

Congratulations to our learners, Grade 6 teachers, and everyone involved for this successful pilot run! Thank you to our school leaders for standing by us and for making every effort count for our learners and our community.

Happy 52nd Nutrition Month!

Theme: Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Ating Pangalagaan

The Magsaysay Elementary School Faculty and Staff stand united in full support of this year’s Nutrition Month celebration. We proudly share this frame as one strong team to show our commitment to the advocacy of health and environmental care. We believe that good nutrition and a healthy environment go hand in hand in building strong minds and bodies for our learners. Together we aim to set a good example that caring for our food also means caring for our planet and protecting nature secures sustainable nourishment for all. As one school family we promote healthy habits and sustainable practices to inspire our students and community. Let us nurture both our bodies and our world for a better future.

Magsaysay Elementary School successfully carried out its School‑Based Feeding Program an activity specially organized to support the health and well‑being of our severely wasted and less fortunate learners.

A total of 60 eligible beneficiaries were served with a warm and nutritious meal consisting of meatballs and misua soup with fresh patola.

Funds for this initiative came from the school’s Canteen Share, while the vegetables used were freshly harvested right from our very own Gulayan sa Paaralan, ensuring that every serving is healthy and home‑grown.

Our hardworking and dedicated canteen personnel carefully prepared and cooked all the food with love and care, making sure that each meal is safe, clean, and appetizing for the children.

Through this program, we aim to improve their nutrition, boost their physical strength, and help them become more active and ready to attend classes and learn better every day.
