Aside from the current pandemic which is the COVID-19, the world has been battling a long aged, rampant, and equally lethal invisible enemy — the Human Immunodeficiency Virus or the HIV in which could later on progress into Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome or AIDS.
The Aplaya Elementary School supports and celebrates World Aids Day with the theme, "Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone's Voice",highlights the urgent need to end the inequalities that drive AIDS and other pandemics around the world. It encouraged everyone to unite people around the globe to fight HIV, showing support for our brothers and sisters living with HIV, and commemorating those who have fallen due to the virus.
Let's continue to remember the lives lost and stand in support to those living with or affected and battling HIV/AIDS.
Spread Awareness.
