The Department of Science and Technology โ Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has released the official list of qualifiers for the 2026 Undergraduate Science Scholarship Program, with 190 students from Pangasinan successfully qualifying for the national scholarship grant.
The results were released following the nationwide qualifying examination conducted on February 21โ22, 2026, across 222 testing centers nationwide. More than 97,000 graduating senior high school students participated in the examination vying for slots in the countryโs science and technology scholarship program.
Qualified scholars will receive financial assistance, which includes the following benefits:
โข Tuition and other school fees subsidy of up to โฑ40,000 per academic year
โข Monthly living allowance of โฑ8,000
โข Learning materials and connectivity allowance of โฑ10,000 per academic year
โข Clothing allowance
โข Group health and accident insurance
โข Thesis allowance
โข Graduation allowance
โข Economy-class roundtrip transportation allowance for scholars studying outside their home province
To avail of the scholarship grant, qualifiers must enroll in priority Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs under DOST-SEI in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), or in private higher education institutions recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Centers of Excellence or Centers of Development, or with Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) Level III accreditation for the relevant program.
Individual Notices of Award are being sent to qualifiers through the email addresses registered in the DOST-SEI E-Application System. The complete list of qualifiers may also be accessed through the official scholarship portal at science-scholarships.ph.
