This yearโ€™s theme โ€˜Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.โ€™ manifests PSUโ€™s aspiration to provide quality and accessible education for all while incorporating freedom, equality, inclusivity and social responsiveness which are impeccably suited in the commemoration of the 126th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood.

This achievement was announced during the hybrid awarding ceremony at Franklin University, Switzerland, on June 7, 2024, as part of the 4th Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Conference.

This is the university's first time to submit its selected programs to the WURI for assessment and being in the Top 9, 11 and 19 posts among 2,880 collected programs globally echoes PSU's real-world and real-time contributions to the community and industry, highlighting innovative education, industrial application, culture, values and management in times of crisis.

It can be remembered that University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas rolled the new quest in October 2023 as part of the administrationโ€™s new vision for PSU which is to become an industry-driven state university in the ASEAN region by 2030.

With the collaborative efforts of the whole PSU community to actively participate in and contribute to this initiative, the university successfully hurdled the global quest obtaining impressive rankings.
