Welcome back to school dear learners! After a refreshing wellness break, we are excited to see everyone back for the Second Term! Let’s have a productive term as we continue to learn, grow and move forward together.

Let us have a spirit of resilience, unity and hope as we rise and rebuild from the recent floods that damaged many of our school materials and equipment. Together we can face challenges and have a good Second Term!

Distribution of School Kits to TBTP Recipients of Basing ES

LOOK: Twenty-five (25) learners of Basing Elementary School received their Tara Basa Tutoring Program (TBTP) School Kits on September 11, 2026, after completing the 20-day tutoring program facilitated by the committed college student-tutors from PSU–Lingayen Campus.

Thank you so much DSWD for this great program that supports and inspires our struggling readers to be more confident readers.

We also thank the Barangay Council thru OIC Punong Barangay Mr. Isagani Abalos for picking up the TBTP kits and bringing them to school despite the flooding in our community that caused the late distribution.

The teaching and non-teaching personnel, together with the learners of Basing Elementary School, actively participated in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) yesterday, September 11, 2026.

Following the postponement due to recent flooding, our learners successfully completed their examinations yesterday and immediately took part in the safety drill right inside the school premises. The students demonstrated proper ex*****on of the “Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocol.

This activity aims to equip both staff and learners with the necessary knowledge and preparedness to respond quickly, calmly, and appropriately during an earthquake. At Basing ES, disaster preparedness and learner safety always come first!

INSET DAY 2 | SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

Another great day of learning and professional development during our School-Based In-Service Training (INSET).

Our two Master Teachers; Mdm Analyn Garcia and Mdm Ana Liza Artacho, and our School Head, Mdm Riza Opolinto, gave our teachers valuable insights through discussion on Technical Assistance: New Paradigm and STAR Form, and Understanding the Function of GMRC in Holistic Learner Development: From Values Awareness to Values in Action.

These sessions also reminded us that teaching is not only about delivering lessons, but it is also about continuous improvement, meaningful guidance and helping learners develop the values they need to become responsible and well-rounded individuals.

We learn and grow together to teach with intention.

FIRST TERM EXAMINATION | SEPT.11, 2026

We are really thankful that we finally completed our First Term Examination after the problems brought about by the flood and the long suspension of face-to-face classes due to Habagat.

Thank God for the strength, guidance and the opportunity to finish the term despite the many challenges we faced.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the Barangay Council headed by the OIC Punong Barangay Mr. Isagani Abalos, for their assistance in fetching and helping our learners who had to pass through flooded roads in the community on their way to school. Thank you so much for your support and concern for our learners and for responding immediately to our school’s request.

Congratulations learners! Thank you also our dear parents, teachers, and community partners for your continued support to our school.

Excellent teachers are lifelong learners, and as they develop, so do their students.

A School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) with the theme "Empowering Teachers for Transformative Teaching" brought together our dedicated teachers.

Through this activity, teachers developed new perspectives and enhanced their abilities to deliver better, more significant, and captivating learning experiences for each student through meaningful sharing, stimulating conversations, and cooperative learning.

Because empowered teachers produce empowered learners, we all learn, develop, and change together.
