The Public Library of Lingayen continues to be more than just a place for books - it serves as a dynamic hub for learning, civic engagement, and meaningful community discussions.
The Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking-in-Persons Program, AIRTIP Campaign was successfully conducted at the Lingayen Municipal Public Library, bringing together the participants for an empowering and informative session.
The program was graced by Municipal Administrator Lydia Pioquinto, representing Hon. Mayor Josefina "Iday" V. Castaneda, alongside Hon. Vice Mayor Jay Mark Kevin D. Crisostomo, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of awareness and community vigilance. Municipal Councilor Norman Doroteo, Chairperson of the Committee on Labor and Employment, also expressed his full support for this meaningful initiative.
Participants gained valuable insights through discussions on the Pangasinan Migration and Development Council Updates, the Anti-Illegal Recruitment and Trafficking in Persons Campaign, OWWA Programs, and Updates and Initiatives.These topics reinforced the importance of protecting our workers, promoting safe migration, and empowering individuals through knowledge.
Indeed, the AIRTIP Campaign was a resounding success -- meaningful, inspiring, and insightful. The program concluded with closing remarks from Cezca Katrina F. Mararac, PESO Manager of LGU Lingayen.
