SCHOLARSHIP ALERT! 📣

The Department of Agriculture (DA) - National Organic Agriculture Program, in partnership with the DA - Agricultural Training Institute, is now accepting youth grantees and farm partner applicants for the Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA) for FY 2024-2025 (Batch 2).

This is implemented through the Institute’s network of Training Centers. Formerly-known as Youth Scholarship Grant on Organic Farming (YSGOF), YIPOA is offered to youth nationwide, which is designed to instill and develop in the trainees an appreciation and eagerness for organic agriculture and eventually adopt this practice as their source of income.

This is a 21-month internship program, consisting of: a) 9-month on-farm internship with the chosen farm partner whose operation matches the proposed organic enterprise of the intern, and b) 12-month enterprise implementation.

The program aims to provide complete support to the trainees until their enterprises are established and made profit to ensure sustainability and to boost their morale.

Ito rin ay isang malaking hakbang tungo sa pagiging akreditadong PGS Group kung saan sila ay magkakaroon ng kakayahan na makapag-certify ng kapwa mga organikong magsasaka.
