On September 1, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 4-A – Consumer Protection Division (CPD) conducted a Private Emission Testing Center (PETC) inspection in Bauan, Batangas.

The inspection aimed to verify compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements and ensure that PETCs are operating in accordance with established standards. This activity reflects DTI Region 4-A’s continuing commitment to promoting consumer safety, fair business practices, and compliance with trade and industry regulations across CALABARZON.
