The Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS) introduces PNS ISO 9001:2026, the latest edition of the Philippine National Standard on Quality Management Systems – Requirements.

Official copies of promulgated PNS are available for a minimal fee at the BPS Standards Data Center at the DTI Main Office, 3F Trade and Industry Building, 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City.

The DTI-Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) is now accepting comments on the Draft Department Administrative Order (DAO) on the Technical Regulation Concerning the Mandatory Product Certification of Aluminum Products (as of 12 August 2026).

The draft DAO covers the mandatory product certification of wrought aluminum and aluminum alloy products, with applicable requirements based on relevant Philippine National Standards (PNS). It also outlines the procedures for obtaining a Philippine Standard (PS) Certification Mark License and Import Commodity Clearance (ICC), including the applicable transitory provisions.
