On October 22, 2024, through coordination of JO1 Jinky M Loรฑez, UWDO, Councilor Mikee Lina III along with 6 other staff members, conducted donation activity to the PDL of this jail unit, in line with the celebration of National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW) 2024.

Their donation activity serves as a shining example of the power of community service and the difference that individuals can make when they come together to help those in need. Thank you, Councilor Konsi Mike Lina III and wife, for your generosity and compassion.

On October 20, 2024, Ms. Teresita B Ilagan, the Provincial Director of Prime Movers for Peace and Progress (PRIMO), along with three members, visited our jail facility to celebrate her birthday in a very special way. They organized a feeding activity for 44 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in our unit, spreading joy and kindness to PDL of this unit under the leadership of ๐‰๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐€๐๐†๐„๐‹๐ˆ๐‚๐€ ๐Œ ๐Œ๐€๐˜๐Ž, ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐–๐š๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง.

On October 21, 2024, Missio Amare Prison Ministry, led by Reverend Vic Cisneros, recently conducted a Holy Mass at this jail unit in celebration of National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW) 2024. The ministry, along with 10 members of the organization, gathered together to bring the message of hope and love to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) under the leadership of ๐—๐—œ๐—ก๐—ฆ๐—ฃ ๐—”๐—ก๐—š๐—˜๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—–๐—” ๐—  ๐— ๐—”๐—ฌ๐—ข, acting warden.

In addition to the Holy Mass, the Missio Amare Prison Ministry also donated food to the PDLs who were celebrating their birthdays in the month of October. The act of generosity brought smiles to the faces of the PDL and served as a reminder that they are not forgotten by society. It was a small gesture of kindness that meant a great deal to those who are often overlooked and marginalized.

The recent dental mission conducted at the BJMP Lipa Female Dormitory in celebration of the National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW) 2024 was a significant and impactful event. Under the direct supervision of ๐—๐—œ๐—ก๐—ฆ๐—ฃ ๐—”๐—ก๐—š๐—˜๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—–๐—” ๐—  ๐— ๐—”๐—ฌ๐—ข, acting warden, along with the coordination of JO2 Veronica Tenorio, Chief Nurse of the facility, the health office of Lipa City, headed by Dr. Randy Dimaculangan and Dr. Manny Peรฑa, and two other staff members, the dental mission aimed to provide much-needed dental care to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) at the jail unit.

With this activity, we are very much grateful to Dr. Dimaculangan, Dr. Peรฑa, and the other staff members for their kindness and generosity. Their efforts have made a difference in the lives of our PDL and have shown us the importance of taking care of our dental health. Thank you to the Lipa City Health Office for all that you do to keep our community healthy and happy.

On October 12, 2024, a special event took place at Bjmp Lipafemaledorm in line with the celebration of National Correctional Consciousness Week. The event was made possible through the direct supervision of JINSP ANGELICA M MAYO, acting warden, and the initiative of Couples for Christ Archdiocese of Lipa, specifically thru the Missio Amare Prison Ministry.

On the other hand, the Livelihood Product that the jail produces, lampshades, also received recognition. The lampshade placed 3rd during the 3rd quarterly Livelihood Trade Fair.

On October 14,2024, JO1 Nicole Panopio facilitated the conduct of Friendship Game - Battle of Strength and Intelligence organized by eleven (11) Lipa City Colleges OJT Students for the forty-three (43) female PDL of this unit under the supervision of JINSP. ANGELICA M MAYO, Acting Warden,. The event was a fun and exciting way for the students and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) to come together and bond over friendly competition.

The Friendship Game consisted of various activities that tested both physical and mental abilities. From relay races to trivia quizzes, everyone had a chance to showcase their skills and talents.
