ANNOUNCEMENT:

Online Appointment for 2026 Business Permit Renewal

To enhance efficiency and minimize waiting time for our valued business permit applicants, the Lipa City Permits and Licensing Office will be implementing an online appointment system for business permit renewal starting January 2026. Transaction limit of 250 per day for applicants with online appointments shall be accommodated.

Appointment Time Slots for Online Applicants:

● Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
● Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Applicants must arrive within their scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so will result to the forfeiture of the slot. Clients who would miss their time of appointment will need to book a new schedule. However, if walk-in slots are still available, they may be allowed to secure a queue number as an alternative.

We are targeting 300-350 clients per day, including those with online appointments to ensure a smooth and orderly flow of transactions, and thus, reduce the waiting time for the clients.

When you come, please ensure that the registration form is completely filled-out and with the necessary attachments. Otherwise, we still could not process your transaction and it would be a waste of time on your end.

Please be advised that a dedicated queue lane will be provided for applicants with scheduled online appointments. In the event of a high volume of clients with online appointments arriving simultaneously, additional service counters will be made available to easily accommodate them.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT : Enhanced Security for Mayor’s Permits.

The Lipa City Permits and Licensing Office (LCPLO) is pleased to announce a major enhancement on the security features of all Mayor’s Permits issued by the City Government.

The Mayor’s Permit that we issue now, features a unique embedded QR code, designed to protect the authenticity of the document and to help the public verify its validity.

By simply scanning the QR code with a smartphone, anyone can instantly access essential information about the business, confirming that it holds a current and valid Mayor’s Permit issued by the City.

This initiative strengthens the public confidence in local businesses and helps ensure that establishments operating in the city are legitimate and compliant with the law.

Important Legal Reminder:

Under Article 172 of the Revised Penal Code, any private individual who falsifies an official document, or makes use of a falsified one, shall face the following penalties:

• Imprisonment: Prisión correccional in its medium and maximum periods (from 2 years, 4 months, and 1 day to 6 years).
• Fine: Up to ₱1,000,000.00.
• Legal Liability: Any person who knowingly uses a falsified document to the damage of a third party will also be held liable.

We urge the public to use this tool and remain vigilant. When you visit or transact with an establishment, check the displayed Mayor’s Permit and scan the QR code to confirm its authenticity. For everyone’s information, it is mandatory that the original copy (not the photocopy) of the Mayor’s Permit should be displayed by the establishment.

If you suspect that a Mayor’s Permit is counterfeit or tampered with, report it immediately to LCPLO. Your cooperation is vital in safeguarding the integrity of our local business sector and ensuring a safe, fair, and lawful business environment for all.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Online Appointment for 2025 Business Permit Renewal

To enhance efficiency and minimize waiting time for our valued business permit applicants, the Lipa City Permits and Licensing Office will be implementing an online appointment system for business permit renewal starting January 2025. Daily transaction limit of 300 applicants shall be set with priority to online applicants as follows:

• Online Appointment: Maximum of 250 slots
• Walk-in Applicants: Minimum of 50 slots – The number could be more than 50 if online appointment will not reach 250. However, it will be implemented on a first come first serve basis.

The daily limit will be implemented to ensure a smooth and orderly flow of transactions, thus, reducing the waiting time of the clients.

When you come, please ensure that the registration form is completely filled-out and with the necessary attachments. Otherwise, we still could not process your transaction and it would be a waste of time on your end.
