Bolbok Integrated National High School conducted an Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Lecture at the school gymnasium for Bolbokenian learners on September 7, 2026, to educate students and strengthen awareness of adolescent pregnancy prevention through informed and responsible decision-making.
The program began with Eduviges Lalusin, Head Teacher I in Araling Panlipunan, who delivered the opening remarks.
She welcomed the students, teachers, and parents while emphasizing the importance of the activity in promoting awareness and responsible decision-making among adolescents.
During the seminar, guest speakers, including Dr. Marian Jelica R. Maralit, Ms. Melody S. Matatac, and Sir Royce Clarck B. Manalo, discussed the importance of proper knowledge and guidance during adolescence.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of mental health awareness among the youth.
It focused on studentsโ emotional well-being, encouraging them to understand and express their feelings and reminding them that seeking help and guidance is an important part of caring for their mental health.
The sessions aimed to educate students about adolescent pregnancy prevention and mental health awareness.
The discussions also addressed the importance of seeking appropriate support for students who may have difficulty expressing their concerns.
