📢 SUCCESSFUL LAUNCHING OF PROJECT RESPOND: RESPECT AND PROTECT CHILDREN’S RIGHTS FROM ABUSE AND VIOLENCE

Malapad na Parang Elementary School proudly announces the successful launching of Project RESPOND. This initiative strengthens our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment for all learners. The event featured the presentation of the school’s Child Protection Policy and the active participation of teachers, parents, learners, and stakeholders in promoting child safety and awareness.

A meaningful Pledge of Commitment was also conducted, affirming everyone’s dedication to uphold and support child protection practices in the school. Special thanks also to ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. Bantay Bata 163 for their invaluable guidance and support. This milestone marks our continuous effort to safeguard the rights and well-being of every child.

We are proud to share that our school has been recognized by the ABS-CBN Foundation as the Top School with the Best Output in the Child Safe Schools Project! 🌟

This meaningful award was received by our School Guidance Designate Ma'am Bernadette B. Canatuan and our Principal Sir Elmer A. Ramirez, who continue to lead and advocate for safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces for every child.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the ABS-CBN Foundation for this recognition and for championing the cause of child protection in education.

The Fielders Young Journalists Win Big in 2025 Lobo Sub-Office Schools Press Conference

Malapad na Parang, Lobo, Batangas – Young campus journalists from Malapad na Parang Elementary School proudly emerged as winners in the 2025 Lobo Sub-Office Schools Press Conference, bringing honor to their school with their outstanding performance in various categories.

Faith Cristy R. Cruzat, coached by Ma’am Liezel L. Diona, won 2nd Place in Newswriting Filipino, while Nadine F. Neric, under the mentorship of Ma’am Laurence M. Hernandez, secured 2nd Place in Sports Writing Filipino. Angela Theresse E. Perez, trained by Ma’am Melanie D. Robledo, also captured 2nd Place in Collaborative and Desktop Publishing (Layouting) English, and Kassey Cate Eunice A. Salaya, likewise coached by Ma’am Robledo, clinched 1st Place in Collaborative and Desktop Publishing (Layouting) Filipino, earning her a spot as Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) Qualifier.

The annual Schools Press Conference serves as a venue for young writers to demonstrate their skills in journalism and to foster camaraderie among budding campus journalists across Lobo Sub-Office

The success of the young Fielders was made possible through the strong leadership of School Principal Mr. Elmer A. Ramirez and the unwavering dedication of School Paper Adviser Ma’am Melanie D. Robledo, whose guidance and support continue to inspire both learners and coaches in the field of campus journalism.
