TODAY’s GMRC | Contribute And Make A Difference
It is often easier to point out problems than to help solve them. Criticism requires little effort; building, serving, and sacrificing require much more. While there is a place for constructive criticism, it becomes unhelpful when it is not accompanied by a willingness to contribute.
Jesus reminds us that God calls us not merely to observe from the sidelines, but to participate in His work. Instead of asking, “Who is to blame?” perhaps we should first ask, “What can I do to help?” Even a small contribution can make a difference.
As St. James teaches: “Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22).
A better world, a better Church, and a better society are built not by those who complain the most, but by those who are willing to do their part, however small. Let us be known not merely for our criticisms, but for our commitment to serve, build, and contribute.
