ACT/MCT led by MAC Neil F. Fopalan and AC Betsie Macatubal conducted 3rd BDRRMC Meeting for Brgy. Balatucan and Brgy. Pili Joint Project at Balatucan Brgy. Hall.

* Presentation of Project Proposal
* Presentation of sub-project Agreement
* Presentation of Environmental and Social safeguards
* Operation and Maintenance Allocation
* Passage of Resolutions

KALAHI-CIDSS Area and Municipal Coordinating Team conducted the MDRRMC Meeting today July 25, 2022 @ Municipal Function Hall led by our MAC Neil Fopalan and AC Betsie Macatubal and discussed the following agenda:
1. Presentation of consolidated/Identified needs of 12 Barangays
2. Allocation of Municipal Local Counterpart Contribution per Barangay
3. Presentation of Timeline of Projects

Binisita ng mga ACT/MCT Staff ang Barangay Buenavista, Guinhayaan, Tuguis at Limon Norte para sa GRS tarpaulin installation and Photo documentation kasama ang mga opisyales ng Barangay.
Ang KALAHI- CIDSS ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa walang sawang suporta at kooperasyon ng mga masisipag nating Barangay Opisyals at ng mga community volunteers para sa pagpapatuloy na pagdaloy ng mga proyekto sa ikakaunlad ng kumunidad sa ating Bayan ng Looc.

KALAHI-CIDSS staff visited Barangay Pili, Camandag, Balatucan for GRS tarpaulin installation and photo documentation with the Barangay Officials.

The GRS (Grievance Redress System) is a feature of KALAHI-CIDSS-NCDDP to promote social accountability. It allows the Project to be fully responsive to its beneficiary communities. This mechanism was designed to attend to complaints, problems and issues that arise out from project implementation.

These issues may include misuse of funds and allegations of corruption; inappropriate intervention by outside parties (in making decisions, determining allocations, in procurement etc.); and violation of project policies, principles or procedures. It will also respond to simple requests for information to clear up a misunderstanding.

KALAHI-CIDSS empowers community members to become active drivers of development by facilitating the implementation of community sub-projects, especially in the poorest and most marginalized communities of the country

Transparency is operationalized when community members are able to participate in all levels of decision-making. The ex*****on, implementation, monitoring, and management of community-based projects implemented by NGAs and LGUs are led by the community members.

Participation is operationalized when national government agencies and LGUs allow and foster the meaningful participation of community members throughout the development process. This participation should be present not only in the identification of community issues and problems, but also in the implementation of solutions to address them.

Accountability is operationalized when community members are engaged in the monitoring and evaluation of projects. Moreover, there is accountability when community members are empowered to take actions based on information that they themselves chose to take into consideration.
