Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Pavia, Leganes, Zarraga, Dumangas, SanMiguel, SanRafael, BarotacViejo), (Banga, Balete), (Jamindan), (Bilar and Valencia) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in (SantaBarbara, NewLucena, Mina, Pototan, BarotacNuevo, Lemery), (Altavas, Batan, NewWashington), (Mambusao), (Lila and Dimiao) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Ang tema ng International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) 2026 na “Resilience Starts at Home” ay nagbibigay-diin sa mahalagang papel ng mga tahanan sa pagbuo ng isang ligtas at matatag na bansa.

Bilang pakikiisa ng Pilipinas, isinusulong ang localized theme na “Panatag na Tahanan at Paaralan,” kasabay ng paglulunsad ng Panatag Pilipinas 3.0 campaign sa mga paaralan sa October 13, 2026 bilang pangunahing aktibidad ng bansa para sa IDDRR 2026.

Napiling sentro ng kampanya ang mga paaralan bilang pagkilala sa mahalagang papel ng mga ito sa paghubog ng kaalaman at kasanayan sa kahandaan. Ang mga natutunan sa paaralan ay maaaring dalhin ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at iba pang miyembro ng paaralan sa kanilang mga tahanan at komunidad.

Binibigyang-diin din ng kampanya na ang pagkatuto tungkol sa kahandaan ay hindi lamang nagaganap sa paaralan. Ang mga kaalaman at kasanayang natutunan sa tahanan ay maaari ring dalhin sa paaralan at ibahagi sa iba. Samakatuwid, kapwa mahalagang lugar ng pagkatuto ang tahanan at paaralan, kung saan sama-samang itinataguyod at isinasabuhay ang kahandaan.

Sa pamamagitan ng Panatag Pilipinas Campaign, na binubuo ng 28 preparedness videos na naglalaman ng praktikal na impormasyon tungkol sa iba’t ibang panganib at mga hakbang sa paghahanda, layunin ng kampanya na mahikayat ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, pamilya, at komunidad na isabuhay at isagawa ang kanilang mga natutunan tungkol sa paghahanda.

Sa pangunguna ng Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Department of Education (DepEd), at Presidential Communications Office (PCO), opisyal na ilulunsad ang Panatag Pilipinas 3.0 preparedness videos sa mga paaralan bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) 2026.

Ang handang tahanan at handang paaralan ay nagsisilbing matibay na pundasyon tungo sa isang handa, ligtas, at matatag na bansa.

Kasabay rin ng IDDRR ang ASEAN Day for Disaster Management (ADDM), na ipinagdiriwang tuwing October 13 upang palawakin ang kamalayan ng publiko tungkol sa kahandaan at katatagan, at bigyang-diin ang pagpapalakas ng regional cooperation sa disaster risk reduction and management sa mga bansa sa Southeast Asia.

📢 PAHIBALO UG PAG-ANDAM ALANG SA EL NIÑO ☀️💧

“Mag-andam Karon, Aron Maluwas sa mga Epekto sa El Niño!”

Ang El Niño usa ka natural nga panghitabo sa klima nga mahimong hinungdan sa pagtaas sa temperatura ug pagdugay sa uga nga panahon. Mahimo kini nga mosangpot sa kakulang sa suplay sa tubig, pagkunhod sa abot sa agrikultura, ug kadaot sa panginabuhian ug panglawas sa katawhan.

Aron maminusan ang posibleng mga epekto niini, giawhag ang tanang lumulupyo sa Munisipalidad sa Loon nga hugot nga tumanon ang mosunod nga mga lakang sa pagpangandam:

💧1. HUSTONG PAGGAMIT UG PAGTIPIG SA TUBIG
Likayi ang pag-usik sa tubig ug gamita kini sa maampingon ug responsableng paagi. Sig**oha nga adunay igong suplay sa limpyo nga tubig alang sa panginahanglan sa matag panimalay.

Ang pagpangandam ug responsableng paggamit sa atong mga kahinguhaan maoy mahinungdanong lakang aron mapanalipdan ang panglawas, kalikupan, agrikultura, ug panginabuhian sa atong komunidad.

Ang kaluwasan ug kaandam nagsugod sa matag usa kanato. Magtinabangay kita alang sa usa ka lig-on ug andam nga komunidad!
