Kinilala ng Northern Samar News & Information ang Salawad Falls sa ginaganap na Bahandi Eastern Visayas Trade Fair na ginaganap ngayon sa SM Megatrade Hall, Megamall, Mandaluyong City mula Oktubre 11-15, 2023. Layunin ng Trade Fair ay ipakilala ang mga natatanging produkto na nagmumula sa Eastern Visayas
Kasama rin sa kinilala ang Samahan ng mga Kababaihan sa Barangay (SAMAKABA) Association at Bayho Women's Association for Livelihood and Development (BWALD).

This year's Tourism Month Celebration is observed with the Theme: Tourism For Inclusive Development." Mr. Ronald G. Serrano, Municipal Tourism Officer of LGU-Lope de Vega organized an activity in relation to World Tourism Day as an International observances since 1980. The activity was successfully realized through the supports of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Bobby C. Saludario, Held at St
Isidore Parish Hall, Lope de Vega Northern Samar, November 29, 2022.

The activity was highlighted with the following contest namely:
⏺️ Festival Costume contest,
⏺️Gown Making contest,
⏺️Parol Making contest,
⏺️Municipal Tourism LOGO making contest,
⏺️ Photography Contest "PITIK", and
⏺️ Video making contest.

The competition was participated with the young individuals in the Municipality of Lope de Vega as they paved the way to boost our Tourism and to encourage everyone to introduce the beauty of nature in our Town.

The contest was scored and critic by the four (4) brilliant personalities namely:
⏺️Ms. Ailene N. Diaz- Provincial Manager, Philippine Information Agency,
⏺️Mr. Librado "Buddy" Flores- Culture and Arts Coordinator, Provincial Tourism Office,
⏺️Mr. Melchor D. Maceriano, Jr.- DTI, Negosyo Center Business councellor in Lope de Vega,
and,
⏺️Dr. Sannie A. Porteza- Asst. Provincial Treasurer, OIC- Municipal Treasurer, Doctor of Philosophy.

The competition was being weighed and scored based on their presentation, creation, concept, and the originality of each entry presented to the judges and to audience.

After a while , the contest has been finished and the judges presented the final results to determined the winners.

(Winners name will be post in MIO Page on the awarding day on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022.)

In addition, Tourism has the power to bring us all together, from all walks of life, without discrimination and regardless of race, colour, s*x or age. It allows us to explore the world in compelling ways so that we can better understand each other destinations, it's history and culture.

The Municipal Tourism Office will be having an activity entitled "Pag-undong san Agrikultura ngan Turismo, dalan sa Kauswagan san Bungto" this coming November 29-30, 2022 with the theme "Tourism for Inclusive Development". This activity is to promote the Lope de Vega best of the best it's delicacies, tourist spot, cultural heritage and etc that will make the Lope de Veganhon as a number one Tourism Industry improve.

In lined to this activity, we are calling the attention of our local artists to participate this said event. The said activity are the following:
1. Video Making Contest
2. Gown Making Contest
3. Logo Making (Tourism) Contest
4. Festival Costume Contest
5. Parol Making Contest
6. Photo exhibit featuring the Lope de Vega through the "Pitik" of local Photographers
