𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁. 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗸!

Hindi mawawaksi sa puso’t diwa ang mapangalipustang kamay at madugong diktaturya. Mananatiling buo sa alaala ng bawat isa ang dilim ng kahapong buhat ng nilagdaang proklamasyon.

Ngayong ika-21 ng Setyembre, nakikiisa ang UP Human Ecology Student Society sa paggunita ng 54 na taong anibersaryo ng isa sa walang kasingliwanag na yugto sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas — ang Martial Law. Inaalala sa araw na ito ang mga biktimang pinagkaitan ng karapatang mabuhay nang payapa at patas.

Naniniwala ang organisasyon na hindi kailanman mabubura ang pagdanak ng dugo sa panahon ng dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Senior. At tumitindig na ang katotohanan ay hindi dapat mabaon sa limot, sapagkat ito ang natatanging sandata sa pagsugpo ng makamandag na korapsyon na nanatili pa rin hanggang ngayon.

Ekolohista ng Bayan, Singilin ang US-Marcos-Duterte sa Pagwasak sa Kalikasan at Pagyurak sa Karapatan!

Sa gitna ng pambabarat sa pondo ng edukasyon at ang patuloy na pagpapalawak ng Pax Silica—ang imperyalistang adhenda sa teknolohiya at mineral na nagpapalala sa militarisasyon at pamimirata sa ating likas na yaman—lalong pinapahirapan ng imperyalistang US at ang papet nitong rehimeng Marcos-Duterte ang mamamayan. Habang tinitipid at binabawasan ang pondo para sa pampublikong paaralan at serbisyo, ibinubukas naman ang kalikasan at soberanya para sa dayuhang interes.

Malinaw na nahihinog at nabubulok ang kondisyon ng ating lipunan. Kaya mga Iskolar ng Bayan, hinihintay na tayo ng malawak na hanay ng masa. Lumabas sa apat na sulok ng silid-aralan, labanan ang budget cut at imperyalistang mapanamantala, at bitbitin ang militanteng tradisyon ng kabataan laban sa korap at pasistang rehimen!

This event is a battle of the quickest wits and the sharpest minds, aiming to deepen the human ecological knowledge and understanding of the HUME 100 students. Ultimately, it embodies UP’s honor and excellence as practiced in the field of Human Ecology.

𝘼𝙣𝙤? 𝙀𝙭𝙤 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠? 𝙀𝙘𝙤 𝙏𝙪𝙭? -- 𝙚𝙩𝙤, 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙠𝙖𝙢𝙞 𝙙𝙮𝙖𝙣!☝️🤓

💭 𝗛𝗘𝗰𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 is a seminar held as part of the Human Ecological Camp. It features distinguished BS Human Ecology (Social Technology, Human and Family Development Studies, and Human Settlements Planning majors) and BS Nutrition alumni, providing them with a platform to champion their human ecological advocacies and share their personal experiences in the field. This event hopes to inspire and leave the HUME 100 students with an enduring impression about their roles as present and future stewards of the environment.

This first semester of AY 2026-27, HEco Talks will once again bring to you our beloved alumni respected for their craft and celebrated for their contributions to their respective fields.
