The University of the Philippines Los Baños Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) conducted an Anti-Sexual Harassment and Gender Sensitivity Seminar for the faculty members of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMS) on July 29, 2026, at MATH 101, Math Building. The seminar unpacked the University’s policies on preventing sexual harassment, promoting gender sensitivity, and creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

Sa bawat pagtatapos ay may isang pangakong muling binibigyang-buhay. Ang pangakong gamitin ang dunong nang may Karangalan, Kahusayan, at Paglilingkod sa Bayan.
Ngayong ika-4 ng Hulyo, nakikiisa ang Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment sa buong pamayanang UP Los Baños sa pagpupugay sa mga Iskolar ng Bayan na matagumpay na nakarating sa yugtong ito ng kanilang paglalakbay.
Nawa'y maging baon ninyo hindi lamang ang mga aral na hinubog sa loob ng mga silid-aralan at laboratoryo, kundi maging ang diwa ng isang pamayanang nagmamalasakit. Isang pamayanang pinagyayaman ng pagkakaibigan at pagtutulungan, pinatatatag ng paggalang sa dignidad ng bawat isa, at nagbibigay ng ligtas, inklusibo, at masayang mga espasyo kung saan ang bawat miyembro ay malayang matuto, lumago, at maging ganap na sarili.
Dalhin ninyo ang mga pagpapahalagang ito saan man kayo dalhin ng inyong landas. Nawa'y maging mga pinuno at lingkod kayo ng bayan na may integridad, malasakit, at tapang na itaguyod ang mga pamayanang ligtas, makatarungan, at may pagkilala sa karapatan at dangal ng bawat tao.

As part of the Human Resources Development Office (HRDO) Town Hall Meeting for newly hired administrative staff, the UPLB Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment conducted an Anti-Sexual Harassment and Gender Sensitivity Orientation on June 24, 2026, at the New Graduate School Conference Room.
The orientation provided participants with an introduction to the University's policies on sexual harassment prevention, gender sensitivity, and the promotion of safe, respectful, and inclusive work environments. Through discussions on rights, responsibilities, and professional conduct, participants were encouraged to contribute to a workplace culture founded on dignity, accountability, and mutual respect.
UPLB OASH extends its appreciation to HRDO for the opportunity to be part of this onboarding activity and remains committed to advancing awareness and fostering safer, gender-responsive spaces for all members of the University community.

The UPLB Institute of Statistics recently organized a pre-internship orientation designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and awareness needed before entering their internship.

This orientations series covered essential topics to help students navigate professional environments, including laws against sexual harassment, gender senstivity, and fostering awareness on creating and maintaining safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces.

UPLB OASH is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this orientation and reaffirm its commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive spaces that empower students as they kickstart in their journey.

Bilang pagpupugay at pagkomemora sa pride month, nakikiisa ang UPLB Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment sa pagtataguyod sa karapatan ng ating kapwa mula sa komunidad ng LGBTQIA+. Ang aming opisina ay naninindigan sa katototohanan na ang sangkabaklaan ay may lugar sa mundo. Sa tahanan, paaralan, kusina, opisina, isports, at sa kasuluk-sulukan, ang bawat isa ay kabilang at may bilang na ginagampanan para sa pagbuo ng ating komunidad.

Ang pag-ibig sa sarili at sa kung kaninuman ay maling ipagkait. Ang mga bata, kabataan, at matanda ay saksi sa danas ng bawat miyembro ng komunidad ng LGBTQIA+ sa bawat henerasyon. Sila ang saksi sa laban na walang tigil na itinataguyod ng ating komunidad para sa pagkamit ng kalayaan sa pagpapahayag ng sarili, at pakikibaka sa mga panawagin kontra hamon ng diskriminasyon, panghuhusga, at karahasang nakabatay sa kasarian at seksuwal na oryentasyon.

Bilang tugon sa mataas at tumataas na kaso ng sexual harassment at pang-aabuso sa ating kapwa mula sa iba't-ibang SOGIE, ang UPLB Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment ay madiing kinokondena na ang lahat ng uri ng diskriminasyon at pinatutunayan ang pagpapatibay ng mga inisyatibo para sa maigi at agapang pagsusuri at pagtugon sa pangangailan ng kapwa. Humigit pa rito, nananawagan kami ng patuloy na paggalang sa dignidad, pagkakakilanlan, at karapatan ng bawat tao. Nawa’y magsilbing paalala ang hunyo, na ang isang tunay na inklusibo at makatarungang pamayanan ay yaong kumikilala sa pagkakaiba-iba bilang lakas at hindi bilang hadlang.
