Today, as part of the 3rd Week Thematic Activities for the 2026 NDRM, Ampalioc PS successfully conducted an Earthquake Drill to strengthen disaster preparedness among learners and school personnel.
Teachers guided the learners, especially our Kindergarten pupils who are new for this activity by discussing the basic earthquake safety measures, including the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique, as well as the important do's and don'ts during an earthquake. The orientation was followed by the actual earthquake drill, allowing learners to apply what they had learned in a safe and organized manner.
Through activities like this, the school continues to foster a culture of preparedness, resilience, and safety for every learner.
