📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | BARANGAY GAYAMAN

Today, Barangay Gayaman joins the Municipality of Luba in the activation of “Blue Alert Status” at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in line with the observance of Semana Santa (Holy Week) and Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2026.

The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee (BDRRMC), in coordination with 1504th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15 1504th MC), is now on heightened alert to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all residents and visitors.

We encourage everyone to stay vigilant, cooperate with authorities, and report any incidents immediately.

Let us all have a safe and peaceful Holy Week. 🙏

📢 BARANGAY ASSEMBLY DAY – 1st Semester CY 2026

The Barangay Government of Gayaman would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the Barangay Assembly Day held on March 21, 2026 at the Barangay Hall.

This gathering served as an opportunity to present the programs, projects, and accomplishments of the barangay, as well as to strengthen our commitment to cleanliness, order, peace, and community development.

Earlier today, our barangay successfully conducted the 1st Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) led by our dedicated Midwife, with the active participation of our Barangay Officials, BHWs, Senior Citizens and 4Ps members.

This activity reminds us that preparedness and cooperation are important in keeping our community safe during emergencies. Through drills like this, we learn the proper actions to take during an earthquake and strengthen our readiness as one barangay.

WALANG PASOK ON MARCH 9 AND 10 | Pursuant to Executive Order No. 58, Series of 2026, issued by Governor Eustaquio P. Bersamin, classes at all levels in both public and private schools, as well as work in all Government Offices in Abra, are suspended on March 9 and 10, 2026.

This measure is implemented in accordance with Sections 16 and 465 of the Local Government Code of 1991 to promote public safety and convenience.

Essential services including offices involved in health services, disaster risk reduction and management, public safety, and other vital services shall maintain a skeletal workforce to ensure continuous delivery of services.

Work suspension in private establishments is left to the discretion of their respective management.

The order takes effect immediately.
