The 4th Gov. Angelina “Doctor Helen” D.L. Tan Provincial Government Employees Unity Games was officially opened today, March 17, 2026, where the employees of the Local Government gathered at the Quezon Convention Center to start a meaningful celebration of unity and sportsmanship, led by the Provincial Sports Development Office under the leadership of Coach Aris Mercene.
Started the program with assembly and parade of players. There was also the Best Muse and Cheerdance Competition, followed by the oath of sportsmanship and ceremonial toss that served as the jurisdiction of the official start of the games. The camaraderie of each cluster was also tested in the fun Filipino Games such as giant volleyball, tug of war, and obstacle course.
Governor Doctora Helen Tan and Vice Governor Third Alcala wish the continued promotion of good relationship between government employees. Through Unity Games, friendship, cooperation, and the spirit of being a family serving the nation continues to be strengthened.

NBTC–SBP Coaches Convention 2026 Registration
The NBTC–SBP Coaches Convention 2026 is a three-day national gathering aimed at equipping and inspiring basketball coaches at all levels. Organized by NBTC in partnership with SBP, the event features professional international and local speakers sharing practical teaching methods, modern game concepts, leadership principles, and player development strategies.

Dates: March 27–29, 2026

Venues:
📍March 27 – CCF Center Main, Ortigas
📍March 28–29 – Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila

Registration Fee: PHP 500

Open to: High School and College Coaches, DEPED Teachers, and basketball enthusiasts.

Coaches will provide their own food and accommodations during the event.

2. Each Participant is required to register via this google form. Only one (1) registration form per person.
3. Present your ID on the event.
4. All announcements and updates will be done via email.
5. Cancellations are NOT allowed.

6.. NON ATTENDANCE
6.1. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute, provided that you will notify us of the change at least 3 days prior to the event.
6.2. If you fail to notify us of the change, we will charge the substitute the corresponding registration fee.
6.3. In the event of non attendance, NO REFUNDS will be given.

Malapit na ang pagbubukas ng Quezon Basketball Development League 2026, isang mahalagang tournament na naglalayong paunlarin ang mga kabataang atleta ng Quezon.

Maghanda na ang inyong team para sa isa sa pinakamalaking basketball tournament sa Quezon Province. Ito ay isang pagkakataon upang ipakita ang inyong mga talento at matuto sa mga kapwa ninyo atleta.

The meeting was successfully held to address the strengthening of Mulanayin athletes through Sports Development Training on February 3, 2026, in the Municipality of Mulanay.

For the purpose of continuous discovery and sharpening the innovative abilities of the Mulanayin youth, Mayor Kuya Aris Aguirre invited the staff of the Local Government particularly to the Provincial Sports Development Office. Welcomed by EA Vernon Magsalin and LYDO Jovertson Atienza. Public Schools District Supervisors and PESS Coordinators of the Department of Education in Mulanay were also guests in the discussion to discuss plans and programs of the Local Government related to sports.

Watch out for the good news for the youth of Mulanayin in the next few days.
